Bitcoin or Gold? What would you pick?

diversification is the way to go. It shouldn't be Bitcoin or Gold, much better to go Bitcoin and Gold.
In the event of a global fiat collapse everyone will recognize gold/silver as a value holder.
They are hard to store though and a lot less liquid then Bitcoin like currency.  
  

A gold bar worth $35,000 is about the same size as a mobile phone, it is not hard to store.

Gold is more liquid than bitcoin, you can change gold to currency anywhere in the world easily.

If you converted people's bitcoin assets in to gold I think most would not have trouble with transportation of equivalent gold weight.

Well i don't see storage as a problem. I am in the camp of bitcoin on this, but having some good information is half the argument.
With bitcoins being easier to user and having more potential being a real big asset, bitcoin is my choice for usre.

No need to keep them in cases, they are poured bullion bars and fondling them is half the fun.

I'm not sure why you'd find plain bullion bars uneasy, for gold that's the best variety they come in.

I own silver, and if I didn't have to deal with the oxidation issues, I would be touching them a lot too. There's just something awesome about being able to feel the value, much in the way physical Bitcoins are valued as a way of feeling the money.

You didn't get it. I feel uneasy when someone touches naked uncased gold (with his greedy and sweaty little hands, lol), whether it is bars, coins or whatever. Gold is a soft metal very prone to wear and tear, so when you are fiddling with your naked gold bars (for fun or whatever), you are literally eating away at the value of your gold...

So beware of losing it eventually

BTC for short term high risk investment and gold for long term low risk low profit potential.

BTC can be considered for short and long term investment too, it depends how you consider it.
Investing in bitcoin has a higher risk when we compare investing in gold but the profit can be much higher than gold.

Where ever you go You find a risky terms in that situation we can find that. Even Gold may also risky for stone age people But Now that’s precious for us. As bitcoin Comes It will not risky for It will be 100% percent best investment for us. For now and Future.After halving We gonna see market demand of bitcoin.

They are not rare. I guess you can easily find them at one of your "sources", just ask. Here you would buy them in one of a few banks that trade in gold

They are rare in the UK, I've never seen them for sale in any of my usual bullion dealers.  Sometimes they crop up on eBay.

Here is the list of banks that sell gold coins and bullion. For example, the first in this list is asking 20,900 roubles per coin...

The weight of the coin is 7.78 g. That amounts to 285/7.78x31.1=1139 dollars per troy ounce of gold. As to me, this is not a bad price for a gold coin as of now
