Bitcoin or Gold? What would you pick?

I would choose gold over bitcoin, looking at the past gold has been more stable and given good returns in long run, where as bitcoin is too risky to invest in.

and i would choose bitcoin over gold, look at the history of bitcoin from first market. highets profit = highest risk. for me bitcoin more safe than gold. also more simple to use it

Yes i agree with you. Because i'm a trader, i rather pick bitcoin than gold. Gold price always stable, not like bitcoin, the price always changed and it's make me happy as trader.

at this time gold and bitcoin is same, the highest rate of both is posible to reach again but we didnt know which will reach highest rate again....

At a moment I would choose bitcoin, as the price of bitcoin is getting higher and if I invest in bitcoin at present then I can earn good profits in short term, so I would go with bitcoin.

yeah true if you choose bitcoin. you should know. if you choose the short term you may be lost. so stay calm you can profit from the bitcoin easily

I guess its just depending on the person level of risk tolerance, but I`m a person who hates risks. So I would just choose gold for being stable regardless if it isnt always increasing high in value.

Agreed, gold promises us some good returns in long run, where as there is no guarantee in bitcoins, as you can get rich very soon or you would loose everything, so its better to play safe and I would surely invest my money in gold.

Yeah. I have also been looking at gold while looking at bitcoin fluctuating. It seems that gold have been a lot active these days. Maybe demands are coming and some buyers wants to invest too. I dont know if whales from gold are doing this, still havent tried to dig what is happening.

The rise in gold price is currently driven by global economic uncertainty.

The global financial system is currently on the edge of going tits up.  Under these circumstances there is always a flight to safey - gold.

Gold is always a better option over bitcoins, as gold is pretty stable in compare to bitcoins, and I think the market cap of gold is huge whereas very few people are using bitcoins.

Gold is older and way more reliable at the moment. Most people see bitcoin as a coin for criminals and something that is very risky.
Just look at the chart and you know what i mean.

IMO it depends on what you aim for in your investment, if it's a low risk long term and low possible profit then I think Gold is a decent investment, Mainly is for saving or keeping money I think, Bitcoin is a short term high risk and high possible return but risk on invested money as well though.

Depending on your investment objective and strategy:
If you focus on low potential profit, Long term, and relatively low risk investment then gold is a decent investment, Bitcoin is relatively the opposite in every field of these categories when compared to gold.

I would pick bitcoin but with a value of gold. This is a good investment for both of them but somehow their differences are both valuable. Bitcoin nowadays are more demanding that makes it easy for everyone to transact and process bitcoin all over the world. This will definitely define most valuable currency..

I would go for gold since it is more trusthworthy. With gold you know what you have. With bitcoin you can't feel it. Nor can you rely on the value
since the price goes up and down so often

Since gold is steady at $1200 and bitcoin is on the rise. It is hard to decide which one to back.
Why not have some bitcoin and trade with that and also have gold as a reserve fund to come back too when the times get hard?
Isn't that what most people do that can afford to hold some gold anyways ?

It has been around this mark for the past month solid since I was watching it.
If that is not steady then I don't know what is, compare that the price of bitcoin and it is a rock solid price for that time frame of 60 days. It rarely ever has a price drop of over $100 at one trading day.

There are many advantage both of Gold and BTC. but when  we see about all things like security, safety and usage then my choice is BTC.

There are always risks in trading value, no matter the way, no matter the currency, there will always be some flaws in the way your 'value' can be stored, can be transactioned,... In the end you just have to use your own judgement which means you 'like' most, and then go for it. Every choice is a loss aswell, some important guy said once...

This. If you want investment for long-term better you investt on gold, and for short-term i advice you to invest on bitcoins. because if you invesment for long-term in bitcoins it's really risky. we don't know what happen next on bitcoin.
