Awesome site, wallet, specs and great devs/community. But Price seems really low, why? Is this a hidden gem that people haven't seen yet? Thinking about investing. Can you guys tell me what sets Saffron apart from similar alts? What are the future implementation and development plans? Thanks

Thanks cryptoholic. Prices are infact increasing gradually now. People were trading at 30-40 sat a week back. Countering dumpers was a challenge initially. Now since most dumpers have dumped their coins which they got while mining at very low difficulties along with bonus rewards for the 1st 2 days, prices are gradually increasing since it is much more difficult to obtain coins now.

The biggest thing that sets SaffronCoin apart from the rest is the Wallet. Since nobody else has come close to create what we have done, it shows the magnitude of the complexity involved in the implementation of those features and the effort that we have put into it.
We will be looking to implement a 4th algorithm soon i.e. X11 to target more miners and also to be energy efficient. This would make us the first multi algorithm coin to have X11 support. We wouldn't stop here. We want to include algorithms that matter to people. Blake algorithm is also on our cards.
The other important part is that SFR is more scarce than most other coins since the total coins that ever will be produced is 111 million where the last 30 million will take a very long time to be completely mined hence increasing the longevity of the coin and keeping in mind the enormous hashrates that can be generated in years to come.

In one way its a blessing in disguise if it remains a hidden gem for sometime . From what i personally have seen the trend, coins that end up getting huge hype do not do well in the end. People end up chasing such flashy coins. But the coins that have a good base plan and start gaining popularity slowly are the ones that eventually end up mattering to people.

Dev, have you thought about hiring PR managers and other team members to get more exposure and traction for this coin. It would be a shame for this great coin to linger at these prices, hidden under the hype of all the shit coins out there.

A Hard Fork will be coming after a few days.
Details regarding block and date will be given later.

This Hard Fork will implement :
-X11 algorithm
-Blake256 algorithm
-Digishield difficulty adjustment method
-Changes to the block rewards and more super blocks will be included

Do not worry. Once the hardfork is implemented, hopefully things will change and this coin can easily be seen as one of the best out there. People keep questioning how is it different from MYR but after the hardfork, i guess the coin will answer itself.
