NXT will not be mentioned.

I bet you haven't seen ESMA (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_Securities_and_Markets_Authority) 22-page report where 30% was dedicated solely to Nxt. #notrolling #REKT #nohomo

Nobody cares about what some random Eurocrat writes about in their busy-work report.

All the "Blockchain 2.0" energy is going into ETH and other Turing-complete platforms.  Obsolete, centralized junk like NXT has about as much of a future as MasterCoin and Counterparty.  The SuperNet fiasco is the last nail in its coffin lid.

Meanwhile you guys argue heavily, I see that my tweet got tons of attention

https://twitter.com/RealBitcoinBlog/status/660243941091078144

Over 70 retweets so far, I had some spare ad credits and I decided to advertise the NXT TREE tweet.

Yes we need to tell the world about the upcoming and existing features of NXT. In my view NXT is still the best altcoin!

Obsolete, centralized junk

Haha, name calling at the level of 8 y.o. boy. I was right when guessed that you hadn't had grammar classes yet.

"Obsolete" and "centralized" are specific accusations that I backed up with analysis.

The charge of obsolescence is justified because NXT, as a script based platform, has orders of magnitude less state space (and hence functionality) than a modern, Turing-complete distributed computer.

The charge of centralization is justified because NXT tries to cram too much into the base protocol and relegates additional functionality to "plug-in" status, rather than the proper approach of a neutral platform running DAPPs.

"Centralized" is also an apt description of NXT's economic distribution, with a tiny handful of insiders controlling the vast majority of tokens.

"Junk" is exactly the right word to describe NXT's heaps of objectively useless, and almost completely abandoned, middleware code.

Why don't you respond on point, rather than simply ignoring the substance of my posts?

How can NXT's simplistic old-fashioned limited scripting abilities possibly compete with Turing-complete distributed computers?

How can NXT's few remaining devs compete with the maelstrom of creativity and vitality surrounding ETH?

How can NXT's bungled and shitty initial distribution to a few insiders compete with ETH's carefully planned and transparently executed crowdsale to a widespread ecosystem?

Maybe this can be useful to the SkyNET or FinHive project.

Sound reasonable, I know a few germans where I live and they love technology, no wonder why they are the technology capital of europe.

If we can get them to join NXT they can bring valuable experience and capital to NXT. It will definitely be a very interesting project for technology lovers.

interesting. the license is good to use it for other projects. i have not taken a look at the code but it could be facilitate the implementation of machine learning meachanisms into crypto coin frameworks and projects.

NVIDIA has hardware for running neural nets and machine learning.

The Jetson TX1 (~$300) a credit-card sized module that delivers 1 teraFLOPs of performance, comparable to the fastest supercomputer 15 years ago.

They also have a cheaper 326 gigaFLOPs version.

heck, seems i have to leave my coding cave more often. this device is perfect for my needs.
currently i am running an arm cluster (odroid) for the math and looked into the parallella* board
for cpu expansion but compared to this device it is a slow combo (parallella delivers max. 20GFlops).

the specs are impressive and the best is the native torch support which is the core ML framework for FH.
will definitly buy a stack as soon as available in europe.

A $192 TK1 has a bit more horsepower than a Parallella.
