I find a block every now and then... but really, an empty block. Booo...
How many blocks do you forge per day? Maybe you are on fork? Which client version? I forge very few. Maybe 4 a year... I have a very small balance, but I run the node to be a good citizen. I was just lamenting my bad luck of finding an empty block. NXT price in exchanges is still going down. Will it stop going down or just keeps going down until Ardor is released?
There's the Ignis snapshot to factor in, but I'd say that Nxt has had a very nice boost in publicity from Ardor and the much higher trading volumes it's seen on Polo. Distribution is likely to have changed a lot in that time. All in I'd say this was a very different phase in Nxt's history. |

The platform on livenet is next summer. Testnet is scheduled for January, only a few months from now, we should get a feel what it'll be like. Trading of Ardor token launches in just 16 days when snapshots are over. |

This is definitely an interesting coin but with the security vulnerabilities inherent with Java, the client is a problem for me on a security point of view.

You're confusing java applets running in a browser with standalone java programs. Nxt is the latter. Java is the #1 programming language in the world, a position hard to obtain if it was inherently flawed. At the end of the day, a program is only as secure as the programmer makes it to be. |

On centralized exchanges like Poloniex - depends if they think they can profit from trading fees, ask their support. |

Poloniex promised to hold track of the amount of NXT you have. When they show up on your wallet there I don't know. Better ask them yourself. After the snapshots Ardor assets show up in your wallet and people can freely trade them. The development of Ardor and his childchains is expected to finish next year. It is practically there already so I'd say yes. And then some... Attaching no value whatsoever to ARDR, price should go to 500 sat or below giving that it is simply a ploy to double the number of "coins" outstanding and the price jus before the announcement, was 1,000. So, at 2,000, ARDR wouldo be valued at 3 times the value of NXT... which makes no sense whatsoever at this point. And then there is the potential value of IGNIS, which is so far down the timeline that it also makes no sense at this time to put any at all in it. All in all considered, it is quite possible price will continue going down for the time being. Considerably. |
