Stuck on 1.3.1
Every time I open my wallet I get a message recommending an upgrade from my current version 1.3.1 to 1.3.4. But when I download the upgrade and reopen the wallet it reverts to 1.3.1. Can anyone please offer some advice?
Do you use the windows client from http://nxtra.org/nxt-wallet/? It Includes 1.3.1 and the auto-update feature didn't work for me too! I finally gave up and downloaded the supernet client. It's working well! But you can also run the original client very easy, because you have already java installed: Download the latest version from nxtforum.org banner. Compare the hashes. Unpack to c:\nxt. Start run.bat. Open internet explorer and go to "localhost:7876". Wait until the blockchain downloaded. Enjoy. Many thanks for the advice. At least I know that the update feature is broken. But I really don't want to run a wallet in a browser. Paranoid no doubt. But I don't feel comfortable leaving it open, and in any case I clear it every time I visit a web page. So I'll stick with the outdated wallet until a new version is made available to download. Yeah, me too. I'm running the node in a virtual machine with nothing as pure windows and nrs installed, pass phrase is coming out of keepass. If you don't install any programs or browser plugins there, this should be pretty safe. And don't surf to anywhere else as "localhost:7876" or "nxtforum.org" (for nrs updates only).

Great to see Nxt keeps improving everyday! Someday people will start to realize that bitcoin is so old fashion compared to it.

agreed, great article! https://www.coindesk.com/new-blockchain-startup-brings-contracts-digital-age/this is good - mentions nxt's utility- and even how underestimated nxt is. Great to see Nxt keeps improving everyday! Someday people will start to realize that bitcoin is so old fashion compared to it.
Its really true though.. NXTs utility far surpasses any coin at the moment.

When you are in the Nxt client, there is a "Send message" button in the upper right. This is AM (arbitrary message)
