why do you people so negotive?

Agree look at when VIA forked... Markets were closed for 24 hours. Lets let the dev's fix this fork and see where things are. They will get there...

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

When VIA had an issue it was taken offline before anyone even knew there was an issue and it was resolved smoothly and easily.

How about when they fix the wallet for good? Because it is just a wallet, not rocket science.
They admitted it was a fumble.
There is so much tech in this coin that IPO price is just a bargain - when the wallet finally works you are going to see.

I wonder on which nodes bemining.net is running. They were synced with the last nodes given by snipsnoop (written below) for a while. But they are still producing blocks while we won't sync anymore.

Are people syncing okay now?

We are at block 2205 atm

No, cannot seem to get onto the right chain.

Have tried various combinations of nodes.

Client keeps getting stuck on block 1500, 1663 or 1759.

 Huh

Make sure you have latest client from website, go into %appdata% - syscoin. Delete everything except wallet.dat file (also make a copy of it.) Then copy files from the zip you just downloaded. DONT run syscoin yet. First edit syscoin.conf file and put this in connect=67.253.247.113:8369 (nothing else should be in there.) - save and open syscoin-QT.exe - should sync now.

I really not aware of what you guys worry about, this is a new coin with completely new features, every new software will have bugs after the first release, even Windows, Oracle etc, but they will mature gradually, bug will be fixed one by one, by the way, I am a Senior Development Engineer Tester working in Microsoft.

NOTE for windows.. I have uploaded a conf file with two nodes.. Also updated the zip file (wallet) with this conf.

If you are having issues.

Best way to do it is.
1. BACKUP wallet.dat..
2. Clean out data folder.. Leave wallet.dat there
3. Add the syscoin.conf file to the data folder.
4. Restart wallet and LEAVE it open..

Details are :
syscoin.conf : https://mega.co.nz/#!OFIRgRRI!tyhVLCaKeZL0nBzf0e2s_JODXUu4qwehXqEkr12eGBg
QT-Wallet.zip (new conf file) : https://mega.co.nz/#!LEwEhSqI!DjSyUEnNab8Xsj8mxTGTFfhbkOX3_3vNV76NHxGz8FE

Please dont use any other conf files at the moment (Or addnode lists you see around the place, these could be old nodes not updated).
Let me know how you get on.

IF YOU HAVE ISSUES USE THIS, WORK

why do you people so negotive?

People want to get their coins to exchanges quickly. Buy support is not guaranteed, it will last only some time. There will be no refunds. This is why we should be nervous. Many people wasted many hours getting their wallets going and syncing

I'm out for now with a nice profit and letting this rest for a while. Too volatile with all these 1 day noob traders. When dust settles I'll buy back in for a bright future. But short term this thing can go to 50 satoshi or 1000 satoshi, who knows...

Using: connect=67.253.247.113:8369 the client is stuck on block 1 with 1 connection...

I haven't seen any nodes provided by the devs, and that annoys me. They should surely have set up their own seed nodes for the launch not left everyone adding random nodes from the forum posts of people they don't know.

Totally agree, all nodes posted here should be deleted except the nodes provided by DEV.

This is A STRAIGHTFORWARD FUD.

How do you know there willl be no refunds???

This will be suicide for Moolah and Mintpal.

They have the 1500 BTC in Escrow. Anybody who gives back the SYS will get 518 sat (at buy price). Then they win nothing but lose nothing either.
If they don't get money back at failure (RIGHT NOW THERE IS NO FAILURE, but some temporary setback!), they will lose their image and most probably very few people will want to do business with them afterwards.
Is their company Moolah/Mintpal worth 1500BTC???

So, keep your cool, and I predict as soon as wallets everywhere are fixed and some weak hands dump which is inevitable, we will touch 4 digits pretty soon!
