I added the nodes from the system.config into the wallet (Mac OSX) and I'm back to normal sync up with 5 active connections. So far so good.

1 Tera hash miner operating on syscoin at the moment.. devouring 100,000 SYS a day (at the block 1629) I just realized there are max 2,000,000,000 coins "it" might just get there in no time  have a pleasant night |

TIPS FOR WINDOWS WALLET
not working?
1. delee everything in appdata/roaming ABOUT wallet.dat
2. run wallet
3. after it freezes, kill itform task manager
4. wait some time ie 1 minute or so
5. restart wallet
6. freezes again? kill, wait, restart.

Anyone can explain STEP BY STEP what we have to do to make running this wallet? And then, what must do with the private key?  Yup. Download this (assuming you are on windows) https://www.dropbox.com/s/rz2kdciobpchlsy/syscoin.confThen go to C:\Users\<your user name>\AppData\Roaming\SysCoin Short cut is windows key + r and type %APPDATA% then open syscoin folder Paste the syscoin.conf file. Close and open the syscoin wallet and should sync. Then when you have the private key go to Help > debug windows and click on the console tab Then paste importprivkey kjuoiafs87asf978asd99876asf9786asfd Make sure you paste your private key that moolah sent you. This does it for the updated windows client. Thanks. |

tip for windows users.
1. download the zip version from the OP
2. unzip
3. inside the folder is a file called "syscoin.conf"
4. copy that file to C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Syscoin
5. start the wallet
6. enjoy
