Time for a little math on the Jon Fitch sponsorship again. (Due to changes in market cap) Price references: Coin Market Cap based on values listed at Sunday, June 22, 2014, 1:21 PM Wallet Numbers: http://nautinsight.buddylabsapps.com/Wallet Address: NNpRo99pmbkX4ncn7ui6w9o6djYK48gwCP Necessary amount for sponsorship: $10,000.00 USD Value of One (1) Nautiluscoin in USD: $0.131751 USD Total Received: 32651.92733009 NAUT Total Received USD Value: $4301.92407767 (Rounded, not truncated) Estimated USD still needed: $5698.07592233 USD Estimated NAUT still needed: 43248.82484634 NAUT (Rounded, not truncated) Also, apparently a couple of exchanges only accept 3 character symbols of a virtual currency... so... just pointing that out for future reference.

I sent some more this morning as well :-) I don't think level 3 is out of reach at all, and even level 2 is amazing for such a short deadline and as new of a coin as this is. Either way it goes I think we should be really proud of ourselves. I mean, we're making history here in being part of one of the biggest advertisement campaigns in crypto. At the same time we're helping out an athlete pursuing his dreams, so it's great for everyone involved. On a sidenote, I follow MMA very regularly and I know that a very large numbers of fighters are interested in digital currencies. Vertcoin actually had thing with Joe Lauzon, a UFC lightweight fighter, proposed a while ago but it never came through. Also Joe Rogan, the UFC commentator, has had Andreas Antonopolous on several times talking about Bitcoin. I think this sponsorship will have a HUGE cascading effect, and really put Nautiluscoin on the map for a ton of people.

Short deadline and community still growing so not a failure if we don't hit level 3. He actually mentioned NAUT at the press conference which was surprising, I thought he just had to wear the logo. People are really talking about NAUT on twitter now and not just the usual crypto types so this has paid off already. I feel if we had a POS deadline people wouldn't be dumping, I'm still a bit surprised it's back under 20k though. I've got orders open anyway.

Well, we're up more than 100% since a few days ago :-) We're building a new floor here, as the push over 30k was a little bit to much with so many people buying between 8-12k. It's hard to resist 300% profit, so I can understand why some people sold. The important thing is that the people who's buying at these levels want to see a return too, so now a good portion of the coins are in the hands of people who don't want to sell under 40k or higher. :-)

Not planning to sell at all. We are at the beginning of an uptrend.
NAUT is on this moment a coin that you need to have in your portfolio for the longer term. My target is ~175K however, depending on the ride how it will get there, that target can be reajusted.

Yup, I agree completely. Also, regarding your point about the POS deadline, I think you have a point. Most people who don't read this thread regularly are not aware that POS is in the works, or at least not so soon. Some people I've talked to seem to think that the mining, and subsequent dumping, will keep going for the rest of the year. It will be a nice surprise to them when that ends and the only thing deciding the price will be supply and demand, and not miners dumping to make a ROI on their equipment.

If I knew what POS meant for a coin with support I wouldn't have dumped my blackcoin. That's why I mentioned marketing to outsiders earlier, would be great to get the message out to people who don't understand what a big deal this could be.

Don't remind me I made some good money trading Blackcoin around 5k and felt great about myself. A couple of weeks later it was over 80k ;( Luckily I could make it up by trading the swings, but still... So yeah, switching to POS when we have such a huge inflation (more than 1% daily at this point) can't be underestimated.

Re-posting this for new page I just realized that Nautilus coin is not on coinwarz web site, many MANY MANY people look their DAILY for profitability, I like their nethash charts. Right now Nautilus coin is NOT listed there, if they were, this could help with net hash! Voting is FREE and can be done once per hour, it just takes 5 seconds to vote, no need for sign ups and other noncense. Have a great weekend everyone! I am excited to announce that Nautiluscoin will be sponsoring Jon Fitch, the No.2 Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) World Ranked Welterweight, in his upcoming fight on July 5th on NBC. Like many of us, Jon has recently caught the digital currency bug and with this sponsorship he will become the first professional athlete to be paid in a digital currency. It’s my hope that the Nautiluscoin community will embrace Jon with the same enthusiasm it has shown for the coin itself. Over the next few days, anyone who holds Nautiluscoin will be able to be a part of the sponsorship. We have created a Nautiluscoin wallet for this sponsorship which we have placed 20,000 Nautiluscoins. From now until 5pm Sunday June 22nd the wallet will be open for Nautiluscoin holders to send coins and be a part of the sponsorship. Our goal is to raise the equivalent of $10,000 so that Nautiluscoin will have prime placement on Jon’s attire and banners during the World Series of Fighting. With this sponsorship Nautiluscoin begins its journey toward acceptance as a medium of exchange. In the next few months retailers will be able to accept Nautiluscoin for both online and offline transactions. As well several new ventures will be launched that will use Nautiluscoin exclusively. This is an exciting time for digital currencies and Nautiluscoin is fortunate to have such a supportive community. Sponsorship Address: NNpRo99pmbkX4ncn7ui6w9o6djYK48gwCP
Today Jon is doing a radio interview where he will announce this deal. As well, today at 12 pm Las Vegas time he will hold a press conference where he will wear a Nautiluscoin hat.Link to Radio interview: http://mmajunkie.com/radioWhile I have begun the sponsorship process I want the community to have a chance to take part. Any amount you send will automatically qualify you to say "Hey, I sponsored Fitch!!! -BK Price references: Coin Market Cap based on values listed at Sunday, June 22, 2014, 4:28 PM Wallet Numbers: http://nautinsight.buddylabsapps.com/Wallet Address: NNpRo99pmbkX4ncn7ui6w9o6djYK48gwCP Necessary amount for Level 4 sponsorship: $10,000.00 USD Value of One (1) Nautiluscoin in USD: $0.116944 USD Total Received: 39152.30733009 NAUT Total Received USD Value: $4578.62742841 (Rounded, not truncated) Estimated USD still needed: $5421.37257159 USD Estimated NAUT still needed: 46358.70648849021754 NAUT (Rounded, not truncated) The total NAUT needed is due to a reduction in NAUT price compared to last posting, but the total still has wound up with less USD being needed. I think it's pretty awesome we've made it this far as it is! Also the value of 1 NAUT in USD can change rapidly (it's already up about 3 cents between this edit and when I posted this)

Seriously I'd love to see us reach at least level 3 funding. Maybe I'm too negative, but I thought 10,000$ was almost impossible with such short deadline. If we can raise 5000$ I think we all deserve a drink as that's a pretty amazing feat for a coin that's been around for little over a month. I mean, even though it's not a ton of money in the grand scheme of things it's still something this little-over-one-month-old-community has rallied behind and made happen in about 24h. Pulling a PR stunt like this is something almost no other coin has done, and 99% of them have been around far longer than Nautiluscoin.

The PR stunts HAVE been done, but the thing is no one has managed to do this well in such a short time. Also, I tried contacting the US Mens National Soccer Team largest fan organization (The American Outlaws) to see if maybe they'd start accepting virtual currency (mentioning nautiluscoin specifically) for membership. Unfortunately not planned in the short term, but maybe in the future, they'll "keep it in mind". Was worth a shot... maybe by next world cup
