that's the reason why i like to use and to pay with bitcoins, miners fee is like, 0,00004 bitcoins?anyway, it's really really small, not even 1 cent, while paypal and ebay fees are around 14% if i'm correct, that might be reason why bitcoin will be main currency later

Fed up with CC/Paypal and this expensive market places. They take too big of a fee which make selling small or cheap items a waste of your time because the fees cut your profit. I am positive more and more people will see this.

PayPal and eBay fees has been way too high for a long time. Sure they need to make heir money but eBay fees are a bit on the crazy side. I remember when eBay fees were so little

Yes they are ridiculous and have been for a long time, and I don't sell much on eBay anymore. Last time I did, I noted in the item description that I take bitcoin but the buyer paid by PayPal. They like the buyer protection and I don't blame them.

I think they are just set a fee for a maintenance of the site or they use the fee to stay remain legit of the site.. But the fee is very high.. Its better to use bitcoin for the transaction than using ebay service if you want to sell your products its better to use escrow and give a fee for your deals..

yeah these fees are just dumb, they take 16% of your money which is very very a lot and i think there are no good bitcoin auction sites anymore because no one used it? atleast i heard rumors like this, not sure if they're right, but it looks like right thing, if no users then no need for site

Ebay charge too much fees because they need to pay there workers and hosting, domain, site changes there hosting is probably the most important because if it fails then ebay will lose millions

Don't remind me. I pay way too much each month to them. I am tired of waiting for something to open up that is decentralized and accepts btc. At this point it would be faster to build my own ecommerce stand alone website and accept btc.

yes these fees are huge, that's why i use bitcoin if possible, bitcoin fees are 4$ cents only if i'm correct, that's not a lot compared to 16% ebay and paypal fees, and those fees will be main reason why more and more people will use bitcoin in near future

Paypal and Ebay are terrible when it comes to fees. We already have Bitcoin which is way better then Paypal. So lets get a Bitcoin auction site. I am sure it would be a big success.

Isn't there any cheaper way to make money transfer? For sending 1000$ we pay more than 60$ and also receiver bank deducts fee

Ebay does charge way too much. What a rip off.
Will the decentralized OpenBarzza charge less fee?

It is wise to sell on eBay only if the item can be sold at 100% markup else only ebay and PayPal will be making all the money . The newbies on ebay try to compete with other sellers / amazon etc and end up screwing them selves when they see the big bill of ebay fees . So always do your maths properly before u decide to sell on Ebay

I have half-considered setting up a site for exactly this sort of thing. Competition to ebay with much cheaper fees and allowing sellers to actually 'choose' their payment methods. Accepting google wallet, paypal, btc, ltc, and any other crypto current available.
