Do you even know what you are talking about? How can you say that Bitcoin is 100 times more profitable than PayPal?

PayPal is just offering people a payment platform to transact with each other in a "safe" environment. It's not an investment tool.

And can PayPal be considered a bad service? Depends on the person using it, but considering the wide spread adoption of PayPal, it seems to me that people are comfortable with using it.

It offers them instant payments where people also enjoy the feature of charging back in case they need it. Sellers pay the fees, so in that aspect, it's great for buyers.

Maybe, Pokemon just wanted to say that Bitcoin is 100 times better than all those services as a payment system? If this is the case, fiat payment platforms in general, and PayPal specifically, are by far more popular than Bitcoin. You can pay through PayPal almost in any online store around the world, but with Bitcoin it is far from being so, unless you pay with a Bitcoin payment card. But in the latter case, it is basically the same as paying with your typical credit or debit card.

Then what is the difference between all these cards? If there is an advantage in something of bitcoin, it should be used. But if it's still just like a credit card, what then is freedom.

you can even grow your money if you invest your money in bitcoin and then simply hot it for some time. you do not need to invest your money any where if you are not interested to take risk.

I think so, pokemon said profitable which lead to blockchain technology and advantages of bitcoin. PayPal may just provide service to intermediate transaction but you could do it better and faster with bitcoin transaction.

What it seems to me that investing in bitcoin to increase your money, this is a temporary phenomenon. If the time comes and bitcoin will peak, then it will lose all meaning. Bitcoin is translated into real money and all. That's just not clear what the value of bitcoin.

Yeah, we can say that bitcoin has freedom to earn and to make money from it, But same situation is also here in all other currencies, No limit is here to use. If we are using fiat or crypto currencies. But In crypto it has a high risk, Because no one know when suddenly, crypto currencies could be finished. I have only one reason, otherwise now crypto more than suit for me, and i will be used till the end whenever these are here.

It's not basically to earn because bitcoin is not primarily created for us to earn, it was created a s payment system or a currency that we can use online to beat the legitimate payment processor who is charging us unjustifiable amount or a bigger amount. With bitcoin, since it's anonymous we all have the freedom to do whatever we want without government intervention.

I think along the same lines basically, but there might not have been any other viable way of making Bitcoin popular among the general public. It is not like gold which is attractive by itself, and it doesn't have some outstanding qualities that would make people use it given only its merits as a payment system or currency alone.

Then the benefits are not so much, if you have already caught up bitcoin and Gold, as well as banks and bitcoin. Even a simple dollar is the equivalent of the gold reserve. A bitcoin does not provide one or even none. How to deal with it. Buy Bitcoin practicable to buy the air. But another thing is to extract it.

Of course because there is no absolute freedom. Rules and regulation are everywhere and there are consequences if you break it.

That being said, There is also no absolute freedom in bitcoin .

People thinl there is because bitcoin has a loose rules and regulation compared to the tradional payment system and is much easy/comfortable to use.

Freedom is a state of mind, bitcoin can't give me more freedom if I don't wish it. Currency can provide you some things, with money you can buy all sort of stuff, but this thread is about can we buy freedom? Can we buy happiness?
I don't wish to think that bitcoin is freedom, maybe this can help us to get rid of banks, mmf and similar organizations that makes rich people richer and poor people are poorer each year.
With that I agree that btc is better then any fiat, but still I don't think that any currency can give us freedom.

Like few days ago i send 0.1 btc and i just pay i think 10cents or 20 cents in bitcoin..
But for now few merchant and stores are accepting bitcoin as payment and i hope more shops and stores are accepting bitcoin as payment so more people will choose bitcoin because of freedom and some other benefits..

I think it's getting started not for some stores or online shops to accept bitcoin payments. Here in my country little by little there are some shops online which they alreay accepting payments using bitcoins.. for me it's a good for us bitcoin users to have this kind of shops because it's giving us a freedom to purchase and that's tax-free and hassle free rather than going to actual shops to buy goods.

If you have the money, it seems to me there is no difference in what currency they prenadlezhat. Thus for any currency to buy another currency, and as you rightly said, it is possible thanks to travel around the world.
