Would xLTC or LTC+ be possible?

It might be possible, if it's not taken.
it would require changes in the wallet code, website, explorer, etc.
Personally, I like LCP as in LiteCoinPlus

what does the x stand for anyway?

The X could be similar as in XBT (Bitcoin) XBC (Bitcoin Plus) XCP (Counterparty)

I think LCP is suitable Cheesy, another variation would be XLP

since I already spent the time to change everything over to LCP - I think we will keep it that way.

Next thing is to get some funding to pay for the listing at Cryptopia.
Price to get listed is 400,000 DOTcoin  (it just went up)
Price to get listed, 1 month of featured coin, 1 month tip slot, 1 month of reward slot is 560,000 DOTcoin

I think the 400,000 just to get listed would be fine, but the extra exposure with featured coin and reward/tipping would be beneficial if we could come up with enough DOT.

I am going to need help with this.  Here is a DOTcoin address for people to donate DOT coin to:
13s6qhu16253oxpGWyTqXtd2uBM1kj98YY
(DOT only at this address)

I will post updates on the balance - or you can check it on a DOTcoin explorer at https://chainz.cryptoid.info/dot/search.dws?q=13s6qhu16253oxpGWyTqXtd2uBM1kj98YY

Um, i think the cryptopia listing will take some time, would you consider in the meantime some exchanges with lower coin listing fee?i know that novaexchange asks for 0.9BTC, i wonder how much does bleutrade/c-cex/coinexchange.io ask  Huh

at the current dot prices, it would cost about 1.6 btc so - ya, it will take a while.
Nova is a good starting point I guess.

On a side note, testing is going well so far.
I set up three pc's in their own little network to test the wallets.
Setup a pool to point my gpu miners at.
I'm actually using the real chain as my testnet chain, and am waiting for block 210,000 to see if I can mine some fake LCP   Cheesy
After a few blocks - I can check the staking.

We might be ready to go with a new wallet release - with a switching point of block 220,000 or 230,000

More later

testing is going well.
I was able to mine some test blocks once the chain made it to the "switching" block.
Took almost 24 hours before the new blocks started to stake. (it took 26 hours for my official wallet to stake)
I think I'm about ready to wrap up the testing phase.
I should be able to get the new wallets out in a couple of days - with the fork set at block 215,000

As a precaution, I suggest everyone make a backup of their LitecoinPlus directory in case things go south and we have to switch back to the old wallet and old chain.

Do this BEFORE block 215,000
Windows users:
with the file explorer, got to C:\Users\*yourname*\AppData\Roaming
Left click on LitecoinPlus and select copy.

then, left click on Roaming and select paste.

You should end up with a folder called ""LitecoinPlus - Copy"

Linux users:
cp -r ~/.LitecoinPlus ~/.LitecoinPlus-old

This way, your wallet and blockchain is backed up, and we can all go back to the old chain - while protecting our wallets.

Also, don't make ANY LCP transfers after block 215,000 until we can make some test transfers - if you transfer (buy/sell/trade) any BCF, and we have to go back to the old chain - your transfers after block 215,000 will be lost.

LitecoinPlus [LCP] V3.0

Prepare for the hard fork at block 215,000

source code is updated at https://github.com/Crypto-Currency/litecoinplus
windows-qt download is at https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B1cnD3W8c0jtd3lzbVNYamJzR1k

working on the macOS wallet now, when finished it will be in the same folder as the windows-qt wallet (link above)

I think that once we pass this milestone, and everything checks out - it will be time to make a new announcement thread.
That will give me some time to work on the web site.

c-cex is delisting coins (about once a month):
"We have to free up server resources for new coins by delisting some coins which have consistently low trading volume.
The following coins will be removed on 07.08.2017 if their average trading volume for the last month has not exceeded 0.2 BTC/day (6 BTC for last 30 days)"

So I think that would be a waste of funding.
Nova is ok, but low volume and costs .9 btc
Topia has much higher volume (currently 26,261 users online) and costs about 1.6 btc
Polo currently has 25,946 users online.

I think Cryptopia is the best way to go. They don't delist unless there are major wallet/network problems
It takes 400,000 DOTcoin to get listed on cryptopia.

You can donate DOT coin at this DOT address 13s6qhu16253oxpGWyTqXtd2uBM1kj98YY
or Bitcoin at this BTC address 13YuyPtXs96g8gR45Gfn1PBAWuxGVGMdhk

Let's get listed on Cryptopia and move on from there!

The macOS-qt wallet is ready - please let me know if it works or not, I'm not a ma user and tend to forget to put some of the libraries into the img   Roll Eyes

It is in the same folder as the windows-qt at https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B1cnD3W8c0jtd3lzbVNYamJzR1k

keep in mind that the only thing moving the blockchain right now are you guys staking.
The more of you with your wallets open for staking - the sooner we can get this done  Smiley

I looked at the movement section in the explorer, there seems to be almost 20k worth of LCP in those transactions starting from 29th june, so maybe those will represent part of the first sell orders  Smiley

Seems I'm the only connected, granted I have 4 wallets going -

I was just curious if everybody has bee able to upgrade to the new wallet and connect.

Thank you, I was just curious.
Been watching the network tab on the block explorer to see how many connections, and how many new wallets there are -vs- older versions.
