Urocoin: a promise of being used to buy/sell Urea, with claims of having conducted such a trade that cannot currently be verified. I would like to see a real news source with pictures and documents go and take pictures and do an interview with the parties involved here. Until that happens, I suggest extreme caution. I "invested" nearly $5 into URO recently, if that's any help. Hahahaha.... Don't come crying to me when URO ends up being similar to GTC.

if the coin were to be worth $300million you need volume to sustain that. if only dev has made a transaction how do you expect that price to be sustain. read it again, unless other companies start paying in uro, this is a good buy. basically what we have here is a merchant has accepted URO, whether people use it too buy urea is another thing

Nothing is for certain, is it?  But people will have very good reason to use it, because it will streamline the process greatly.  Also allows farmers, wholesalers, etc., to lock in a price, avoid substantial bank fees, etc.  URO is the internet of urea fertilizer, and there is a huge worldwide volume in trade there.

agree its just another coin, waiting for people to use it. those people saying $300 a coin are fools, they are acting like its the official currency for UREA and no one will buy UREA for dollars from now anymore only uro. i hope that comes true but its a slow process, just like how btc was accepted

It could reach over then 0.5 until the price is rising, and then could fall down and stabilize to a lower value.

I know why your pray will never be answered!

How about bitcoin, is it backed by anything? Is it not as worthless as any coins except for the belief by many that bitcoin is worth something in fiat money or its potential in the future? How about the hundreds of altcoins you own, are they backed by any physical asset? Are they used by a large enough people outside of the mining community? Or are they worth something because of a promise that they will have anon that, security that, future that? So some altcoins are worth several dollars because of a promise without actual useful use in the real world?

Now compare what you have to urocoin and analyze again.

no one is refuting that uro coin does not have promise, im simply stating URO is not worth $300 UREA is. URO is a currency. the more companies that adopt it, the more the price will rise. but for it to be worth $300 you need a ton of people using it too buy urea, at the moment its just being traded. if no company wants to pay using URO its worthless, its good news GES has accepted that is why its risen, but we now need to see other companies pay using it. well done for early holders, i bought in the drop when it hit mintpal, i didn't expect this to happen

You didn't expect it to happen because you don't comprehend the utility of the coin for the urea market.

i wouldn't be surprised if URO falls below 0.01. dev needs to work on getting other people to accept it, without that, the rise is not sustainable, be careful don't fall for the hype. early buyers have done well

i didn't expect a rise like this on only a trade of 12500 coins. a merchant has simply adopted that has value, but that is hype until others start to pay with it. if usa says we accept bitcoin as payment, it does not mean the value of btc is 13 trillion dollars the value is set against how many people pay with it, (volume) all we are seeing now is traders volume. if a trader see the value as $300 or $1000 it will go there, but i don't think that is gonna happen soon

Um, no... but there is about 80 BTC sell wall at 0.05, while the buy walls keep moving down because people are selling into them. Time to take your profits (or cut your losses) and then watch as this all falls apart.

Don't worry, my speculation is my speculation, win or lose, it's my responsibility. Of course any investment or speculation require extreme study, caution and risk, just like in life. If today was was just the starting month or year of bitcoin,  every naysayer will say the same thing. But now you and thousands of cryptocoin traders and miners are using bitcoin as your reference currency. How is that different from urocoin's start? Yes, urocoin could be a scam, as it was a possible conjecture for bitcoin back then. Common folks like us don't have much connections and resources to verify the first sale of urea using urocoin. I guess we will just have to wait if uro is for real or not.

Any investment or speculation one makes is his responsibility.

take a moment breath and think it through it in your head, all we have had today is a merchant has accepted it, thats good news, the only person who has paid for urea with URO is the dev that is 12500 and we do not know yet the value of that. him not posting how much, makes me suspicious he wants this pumped, be careful.
