So, are the devs trust worthy, or is them a very sophisticated scam?
It doesn't seem to be a scam. Just a risky investment as is the case with all altcoins...
After reading every page of this thread, as well as everything else I could find online, as well as reading several IRC chats between the dev and some knowledgeable skeptics I have come to the conclusion that the dev is trustworthy, sincere, brilliant and absolutely NOT scamming us. In other words, this isn't some grand conspiracy to make everyone invest in URO so that the dev can sell his coins on July 8th and leave us holding the bag.
I am now convinced of that 99.99%
The dev came up with a brilliant concept, got a some legitimate big time players in the UREA industry to sign on and now together they are going to try to change the world of crypto for good.
The question is will they be able to?
That question I cannot answer. But for me that is now the only question before us.
Is this a risky investment? Yes.
Will you lose your money if you buy URO? Possibly.
Will you be rich next week if you buy a ton of URO right now? Possibly.
Are we being scammed by the dev? I am convinced beyond a reasonable doubt that the answer to this question is no we are not.
Again, that's not to say that URO will go as planned, because at this point anything can happen....but that IS to say the dev and the signatories to the URO protocol are sure as hell going to try.
I also now am convinced that the price of URO will skyrocket as the 9th approaches as people realize that the dev really is not scamming anyone and this actually might go as planned.
So I say hold your coins and let's all be excited that we are very possibly taking part in an experiement that could very well turn out to be the biggest thing to happen to crypto since bitcoin itself!
