I created QuazarCoin Mining Guide draft.

I really liked youк QuazarCoin Mining Guide but it's soooo hard to read it because of the the layout of text and unnecessary special characters.

I hope he will fix it. it's sad when someone efforts and as a result a good manual is not used due to poor visualization

usually people start mining QCN after the acquaintance with other cryptocurrencies.  the answers to all the questions they get during their first experiences with bitcoin for example.

If you just started mining Quazar you'll have new questions. QuazarCoin in contrast to bitcoin is based on CryptoNote protocol and has a lot more differences Wink

It would be a good idea to make a separate section with tutorials in the description of Quazar

Trying to consolidate files, I seem unable to create a valid transaction -- or at least the network refuses to accept the transaction? Possibly it's too few QCN and too large a transaction, but if that's the case, how in the world do I ever consolidate the coins? I try to send them to myself, but after hours (or even days) when nothing happens, I end up deleting all the core files (wallet.bin and the blockchain) and then trying again.

Any suggestions on what to do? It's only 9.4 QCN, but I'd like to know WTF is going on at least so I could point others in the right direction. Maybe I'll try sending a bunch of 0.25 QCN transactions (so that the total size of each is relatively small). If that works, I can try some larger transactions.

All of this goes back to "mining for dust" a month or so back (between blocks 15850 and 17079 I received about 2500 transactions totaling just 10.4 QCN). The pools sucked at this sort of thing then, and now it looks like I may not be able to consolidate coins. We'll see how it goes....

Update: three transactions now "sent"; we'll see if they ever show up on the real block chain. Anyone have any idea when these should appear? Right now these were sent between 2014-Jun-30 23:27:10.548209 (PDT if that matters) and 2014-Jun-30 23:55:30.096172.

Transaction IDs:
Code:
f37b0d2bd10e3f7521da469181a3f9b3595a719cff6240593f5a444cb4081201
9230f2f54e1acb5d2d5aba6413498ee89be256ab9d6655b7a28c220e58e64a71
c3f66499828a0507b9f3783ecc877fecef233d231e318781130b66813b4238e8
And after going to bed and waking up, not a single one of my five transaction attempts has managed to go anywhere. Thus, once more I am back to resyncing with the blockchain after deleting wallet.bin. It's a process I'm very familiar with at this point, and my best guess is that it's simply not possible to send transactions above a certain size. I was trying 0.2 QCN, but maybe I need to drop down to 0.05 QCN and see how that goes? At this point, I'm really just trying to get anything to go through on the network though, as I'm wondering if there might not be a bug with the current wallet/daemon where it doesn't properly send transactions to the network.

Running newest 64 bit windows daemon and wallet (as linked in the first post).

Removed wallet.bin and restarted again. Plenty of time allowed for sync.

Still failing, daemon output:

Code:

corresponds to wallet output:

I tried using a new transaction ID, but error is still the same.

I've seen the 'used already spent key images' message before I'm sure.

Are you sure that the daemon was synchronized? Did you see a green notice 'Synchronize OK?

Finally managed to transfer coins again after deleting wallet.bin and blockchain.

Angry  Fuck that wack logo. Devs need to fix the seed node connection for their wallets. I post this in MoneroCoin blog also Cryptonight has great coins, Quazar could be a great coin but...............Devs need to stop releasing suck ass wallets......people lose money and faith in a great coin with a half ass wallet. THats what killed Purecoin, Yellowcoin, and it will do the same to cryptonight coins if people keep half assing on the program that is suppose to keep your money safe. Cry

Boolberry Doesn't have this issue just waiting for Claymore or someone with a better mind to release that gpu miner for it

"GOOD COIN ........SUCK ASS WALLET!!!!           Devs why release a wallet update when it doesn't work for half your investors or miners? This is a Great Coin with a half ass wallet both Window and Mac wallets. We should not have to go thru all this bullshit to get a wallet. Just make a online wallet to bypass the Bullshit."

HuhPlease someone "EXPLAIN" how do you add the seed nodes to this crap wallet. Do I make a .conf file, do i go through the command line? I don't have a file that says peerlist or seed node, typing help in the simplewallet is no help. Please help how do I add the seeds to this wallet so it can become sync? Huh
