Hey guys. The "Pools of Honor" VeriCoin pool is now up and running.

Sry for not being there on the wallet release, but i was asleep... My friend copychicken just called me saying the wallet is out and that i have to get the pool running, so here we are.

So i compiled it and fired it up.

Please spread the Hashrate !!!!

This is our 2. pool. If you have any questions or any problems, feel free contacting copychicken or me (testbug).

Hi,

for linux wallet (Ubuntu) i was useing that command:
Quote
make -f makefile.unix USE_UPNP=-

Have you compiled some other wallets yet on linux? For me it looks like u might be missing some lboost dependencies.

Yeah i did compile some other wallets and i have all boost dependencies.
Its just that the vericoin-qt.pro can be used by qmake to generate Makefile which is first route that came to my mind. And vericoin-qt.pro is in this case coded to compile on windows. I think all mingw dependencies are all windows related and that lines forces looking for them on linux.
I guess you can always compile it way you wrote it to not have these issues.

Just pushed to git a fix that should solve your problem, it was looking for the windows build dependencies.  I meant to comment that out for the git.  Smiley

hi, yes ill try.

ill post my config:

Quote
server=1
listen=1
rpcuser=anyusername
rpcpassword=anyuserpassword
rpcport=anynotusedport  (for example 72331)
addnode=188.226.139.209
addnode=107.170.140.210

it could take about 5minutes to start syncing, but with that config it is fine for me.
The 188.x.x.x node is our "Pools of Honor" ip adress, maybe you could connect with the wallet there.
