VeriCoin Pool has been fixed.

Auto-payouts and pending manual payouts were done automatically once I booted the pool up on the new, updated wallet.

Although the pool had a high hashrate previously, it was coming from a small number of miners. All the accounts had coin addresses and thresholds setup correctly and received payment if there was a balance.

Pool was forked after block 11723, any coins mined after that are considered invalid.

Database has now been wiped of everything except user accounts and workers.

Feel free to mine:

https://vrc.pool.enterprises

where are my coins??

Yeah man, I had a few hundred already confirmed.. wtf?

If they were from the forked chain, then they went poof - they're not actually valid VRC. Unfortunately. :/

I'm quite sure they were from before those blocks. Been mining there from block 8k or so..

me too, fuck this shit  Angry

Guys can anybody link the working version of the wallet? Mine crushes after update.

i use the last exe from yesterday which is working fine: no sync problems, no crashes, pos working fine.
the newest exe seems to crash on my pc, so i still use the last from yesterday.

i think the dev will soon release a new version
let me know if you need a link to download the exe i'm using atm.

What operating system are you running?

What operating system are you running?

i use w7 64-bit

p.s there is something strange
http://107.170.153.128/MPOS/public dropped diff to 0.7 - 3!!!
https://vrc.pool.enterprises shows diff above 100.
be careful with https://vrc.pool.enterprises  i lost some coins there!

edit:
enterprises: Current Block 15997
POH: 15688 Current Block 15688

i guess pools are on the different forks.

dev you should edit op and be sure to only list pools on the right fork!

thanks

If your having trouble syncing it's due to being connected to nodes on the old fork.

Patch to wallet makes it easier to avoid nodes on the old fork: https://mega.co.nz/#!t5RBDTJT!etQuOHiblKmjzsI7-vLliOn22H7HoYesuMp6L_euM-Y

Also keep wallet.dat but delete everything else in your %appdata%\Roaming\VeriCoin folder and open the application again, this will reload the blockchain.

Also keep wallet.dat but delete everything else in your %appdata%\Roaming\VeriCoin folder and open the application again, this will reload the blockchain.

this version keeps crashing on w7 64-bit even if i delete Roaming\VeriCoin and try with a brand new wallet.dat!

And seeing as how the coin has just forked AGAIN, this wallet will probably be obsolete before I can re download the blockchain (for about the tenth time)  Smiley
