can you compensate atleast? for letting those pool run, we just lost time and electricity and we need to catch up to cover up our electricity mining cost.

If you track down the others who mined and lost coin and get a list of everyone I'll send you a few VRC cause I'm a nice guy and I bought in cheap.

I wish the Dev team had set up a good dedicated pool from the beginning. I will keep IPOminer in my mind for future coins.

I'm so happy I've stuck with IPOMiner. That's the only pool I've used for new launched coins and never been screwed. I hear all these horror stories about new coins and not getting what you've mined. That really sucks and I feel bad for those people.

Seriously, check out IPOMiner. The only bad thing is the 51% deal which could cause issues if other pool operators can't get their crap together.

IPOminer forked too for a while yesterday and lost over 200 blocks:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=516047.msg6774656#msg6774656

We forked on VRC at block 17460, so our blocks from 17460 through 17698 were orphaned. We have now resync'd the wallet and are back mining on the correct blockchain.

We also just added NautilusCoin for the scrypt multiport as another option for the multiport to mine in the event of more trouble with VRC.

PoW Ends Tonight!!

After a wild and Mars bound ride, we are entering the PoS only phase of the coin, at ~9pm EST tonight, in perpetuity.  Wink

We did experience multiple forking issues, this made stabilizing the network very difficult and we worked around the clock to centralize the block chain and distribute the hash better each day.

This however was not due to a bug in the wallet software, nearly all coins that have very high popularity and hashrate before the network is robust, have these type of issues in the early days.

However this does not diminish or excuse the time, effort and forked coin people had to suffer through.  For that we are sorry.

We do believe that although you may have some forked away coin, this will be made up for by the value of each coin you have, because we are headed for Mars and won't stop till we get there!.

We have some announcements coming regarding the PoS-phase multipool we are setting up, with a novel feature that harmonizes with the Network Stake-Dependent Interest feature in an powerful way.

We will also be announcing wallet version 1.1 with new GUI features and enhancements to the software overall.

More details to follow after we go into PoS, see you on the other side of PoW!

Stay away from Cinni coin. The dev deletes posts. If you arent talking about the price rising he will delete your posts. You can scream price rise! price rise! with no substantial evidence, proof, information, ANYTHING and no one cares. And if you call out people that scream fake price rise, you get banned from the thread. Good luck with Cinni, lol.

PS. do your research somewhere other than the Cinni thread. Like i said, most everything important gets deleted. You will see many posts screaming price rise, so be careful.

But Cinni's price IS rising. Not sure what a "fake" price rise is.
Last I checked when a coin's price rises... it's price is actually rising.

VRC and Cinni are both great coins. And I have a feeling you will be pleased if you own both of them right now.
Please don't FUD another coin in this thread. Especially Cinni.

Stick to talking about VRC. There is some serious buy support over the last 24 hours!

I sent this PM to Krptologist

I lost over 3,000 VRC when all the wallet sinking and such went on.
So If u R putting a list together  add me

I generated an address so I'll know where they came from:

VF37BGv4fptpE5z4vRPc9Hd2ERge5nEfwr

Many including Prosker tried to help me on IRC but to no avail.

I'm a smaller operation and a loss like that represents a great deal of my efforts and resources

Thanks for getting this together and keep in touch
oR let me know if I can Help

When you have staked blocks in your wallet from a bad blockchain, your balance will show up wrong when you sync with the correct blockchain since your wallet is now full of bad entries.

I've seen this occur with my own wallet with staked blocks on a bad fork.

You probably never had the coins you think you lost.

Use a backup copy of your wallet or import your privatekey into a new wallet to see your real balance.
