is there a way to stop your wallet from staking say for instance if you want to spend your coins or di you have to wait for it to finish confirming, before your coins are released?

In your vericoin.conf file add staking=0

We're looking into it. If you're getting stuck here, try running vericoin-qt.exe -zapwalletx which should reset the wallet transactions. This might fix it.

seems to be moving again, then stopped again.  Had to reopen another time.  Perhaps someone who is fully synced can add their blockchain to the downloads.  So new users won't have any issues.  The blockchain isn't large yet so it won't take up much space to do this.

By holding coins in your wallet.  POS Proof of Stake.  By staking(holding) your coins in your wallet, you will gain interest (mining).

Logo redesign, just for the fun of it. Simplicity is key, like bitcoin.

Really nice logo, much better than the original!

So I have now done as instructed by removing wallet.dat and conf and deleted all. Started 1.1 from scratch. After a very long time the wallet finally synced so I closed and reinserted the wallet.dat file and conf. Reopened and i have half the coins I had. I also have a bunch of interest that is now not accepted. About done with this piece of crap.
