Re-clone the git repository. There is a hard fork repairing checkpoint at block 2700. Delete the files in /.vericoin/ besides wallet.dat and vericoin.conf. In vericoin.conf, make sure the supernode ip (107.170.140.210) is listed as an addnode=107.170.140.210.

Windows:

Vericoin 1.01 will be out very shortly. Please update immediately once it lands. This will put you back on the correct blockchain. Please go into your AppData folder located in C:\Windows\YourAccount\AppData\Roaming and navigate to the Vericoin folder. You can type this into your Windows Explorer bar "%appdata%\Vericoin" and it should take you there automatically. Then, you need to delete every file except wallet.dat and vericoin.conf. In Vericoin.conf, make sure you have the line addnode=107.170.140.210.

Please update immediately once the wallet is available for your system.

What to do?

It's a checkpoint for the correct (longest) blockchain.  2740 is ok.  Compiling new wallets now will pushing final 1.1 update to github in a few minutes then posting updated windows wallet to website.

What to do?

That's the right blockchain, don't worry. We have to use a block after the fork but before now because it takes time to compile and we wanted a round number. You're safe. Just update your pool wallet please.

It looks like we're back and running full steam ahead. Sorry about the fork... sometimes it happens, especially if big multipools hit early on. Thanks to the 0feepool and PoH teams for getting things back on track.

To the pool owners, please be responsible and stop sign ups when your pool is over 30% of the total network hashrate. Feel free to open multiple pools if necessary.

If anyone wants to set up a P2Pool, we now have over 49,000 VRC in our bounty wallet (thanks for the donations guys!) and can pay a bounty of 3000 VRC to whomever starts it.
