You don't understand this? What pnosker is saying is that Vericoin can be useful for SMS because it has ultra fast 10 second transaction times, but Bitcoin cannot because it has 10 minute block times.

I don't know how I can say this more simply. Bitcoin has 10 minute transaction times. The only way that you can send it faster is if it's an off-blockchain transaction. That means it is essentially not using Bitcoin to send that money. If you can't understand that then I think we have a communication barrier that is just insurmountable.

Why fear the P&D gangs? It's nothing to do with the coin, it is market manipulators using the coin to drive prices up after some cheap buys while everyone is waiting for the technology to be tested and released.

On the basis the developer is not just legit but is known to associate with some absurdly intelligent and skilled people, means the technology is likely to be delivered as promised.

What got destroyed here? The tech, the coin? No.

TBH I have to agree with the notion that FUD-related plummet was an opportunity to get in on some more coins, a decision made solely on the basis that this coin and dev are clearly not scammers, but the FUD'ers are.

It's a sad reality that all of this was caused by FUD and the absence of immediate response from the devs because they were quite rightly sleeping!

I advise you all to buy back in now before you end up incurring an even bigger loss. You know it dropped from 27,000 to 12,000 only because of speculation and traders thinking they can make the most of the devs being asleep - expect it to rise just as quick. Now that both devs have cleared the air, explained what the issue was with the SMS wallet and how it has been fixed - there is NO reason to think it will go down from here.

The Whales do NOT go against good news - they make the most of bad news but they NEVER go against the grain.

EDIT: I warned you all not to sell in the 12Ks - but you didn't listen- I said you would get burned and indeed you probably have. Shame on you for letting greed get the better of you to sell at the bottom of the dump.

This reminds me of so many other coins that saw a monumental rise, specifically Darkcoin and Blackcoin. A shakeout this big can only mean one thing, that we have only seen the tip of the iceberg of this coin's rise.
