Can we please avoid all the dumb pictures of Supercars, Megayachts and, the worst offender of them all, cheesy caps from 'Wolf of Wall Street'?
Seriously, it absolutely robs a coin's thread of any credibility whatsoever.

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the
subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The
subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

It failed break the 25k resistance twice in a row, the odds are very strong that . . . people have a tendency to pick a round number to act on. There, FIFY. The present describes the future. The approximate present, however, does not describe the approximate future. - Chaos Theory. For every thousand 'TA' call of what will happen and why it will happen, there are 999 explanations as to why it then didn't happen and, therefore, why the 'TA Expert' would have been right if the thing they referred to as being the basis for their prediction had done what it 'normally' does but because, on this occasion, [insert other market behaviour here] happened, then it went as they would have expected it to because [insert other market behaviour here] causes that to happen. This whole forum is littered with 'Expert' chart analysis predicting every possible permutation of what's gonna happen in the market, so *someone* gets to crow about how their call was right. Everyone else is just armed with the usual Astrological excuses and reasons to explain away their incorrect call.

Ok then, If there is no significant pull back within 12 hours then I would be wrong, we'll see Given the multiple bad calls you've made in your post history, if 'TA' is your day job I'd suggest you give up your day job. How's DRK doing for you these days? Your 'Vericoin is dead' assertion was based on what, exactly? Tea-leaves?

I didn't say VRC is dead I said there would be a significant temporary pull back, big difference. Looks like VeriCoin is dying already no worries there, I was waiting for the SMS feature to happen before investing but then the price collapsed over night on failed delivery.
. . .and other gems. By all means trade how you want to trade, but please drop the "I predict . . .the market will be . . .volatile!" garbage. Evidence suggests you praise a coin to the moon on the upswings and then immediately start throwing around 'predictions' of downswings once it tops-out. These are not the actions of somebody who is ahead of the curve and your posting history shows you to be as efficacious as placebo. So, as I said, please can we avoid 'TA' graphs and associated buzzwords, as well as the multiple pictures of expensive Houses,Cars,Boats,Women and, in particular, anything from 'Wolf of Wall Street'. Now, back on-topic, can we get some more reports from people who have tested Veribit?

Google Dan Kaminsky, then check his Twitter feed for his comments about Patrick Nosker.

How do we make this coin irresistible to miners? If we want to take litecoins top spot don't we need the hashing power?
Right now, the mining pool is the biggest drawback for VRC. Very few frills and not enough stats that miners are accustomed to: Pool stats, user stats, shares earned, etc. I may be wrong, but I believe that pool.vericoin.info is simply mining other altcoins and converting them to VRC. (Correct me if I'm wrong.) If that's the case, I realyl have no incentive to mine there. I could just mine DRK and convert it myself. Or, LTC. That's the point of the (multi)pool. PoW ended, lasted only 14days. I have mined X11 for 8 hours twice (so a total of 16 hours) and Sha256 for 8 hours and have yet to receive a single VRC from the pool. How are others finding the profitability? I've been mining for a few days there (frustratingly mining in the dark). The VRC trickels in every hour. But like I said, without stats, I have no idea how effective I am versus just mining another coin and converting it. Plus, there's a 2.5% mining fee. I can do better... I just mined X11 and Sha256 for 24 hours and nothing. A waste of a day - who runs the pool, so I can see whats happening to my hashes?

Joker are you? Dan Kaminsky use google, wikipedia (you'll get a ton of verified pages about him) Patrick Noosker use google (you'll get official academic pages about him) Douglas Pike use google (you'll get official academic pages about him) David Boehm use google (you'll find a lot of pages he's working in Microsoft) "Looks like VeriCoin is dying already no worries there, I was waiting for the SMS feature to happen before investing but then the price collapsed over night on failed delivery."
I was right. Fontas and his pump group used bots to pump the volume and price to 26k, he then dumped it to 11k. gg.
Now of course, with code releases and interesting things happening with VRC the price has recovered.
I agree 100% . VRC was dying at 800 satoshi, was dying at 2600 satoshi, was dying at 10k satoshi, was dying at 26k satoshi, was dying again at 11k satoshi, was dying at 16k satoshi, IS DYING AGAIN AT 22k satoshi. I like this VRC, looks like it has more lifes than a cat. This VRC is some SICK MTF

Our min payout is 1 VRC and we use a novel stacked proportional payout system which is staggered throughout the day. If your hashrate is sufficient to earn 1 VRC you will get it.

I was right.
Sure you were.... Look at the volume and price history, a week or more back it was at 26k then collapsed to 10-11k. Now that stuff has actually been delivered, VRC is recovering. Expecting volatility though 3 weeks ago vrc was pumped in like 6/12h before dump Actually we rised from 10 to 22k in 4days. You cant compare.
