time to buy  Cool

edit: big green candle incoming

To be safe, give it at least a few hours. Don't look at anything smaller than 1 hour time frame. Wait for a candle to complete before you call it - they can change in an instant.

VeriCoin - What happens next?

Watch out for key support at 25k before making any decisions.

What's the easiest way to buy, and hold VeriCoin in the UK? Smiley

Will the dynamic interest still come into play if I buy via somewhere like mintpal/cryptsy and keep it in there?

Buy bitcoin on http://bittylicious.com and trade btc on mintpal/cryptsy/bittrex for vrc. You won't gain interest though if it's held in an exchange wallet, so withdraw and hold in your qt wallet.
God it, thank you! Will get some on mintpal then transfer to the wallet... btw, sorry but what is a qt wallet?

The main desktop wallet: "vericoin-qt.exe"
Ah! Brilliant... thank you very much

how long does it take to stake?
i have coins like 1 day on the wallet and it's still "no mature coin"

You get told to take your 'TA' astrology elsewhere.

8 hours, is your wallet encrypted? needs to be unlocked to generate interest payments. Also I believe you need to have your wallet open to gain interest.

Don't underestimate the power of TA, it's simply human behaviour which is at many times predictable.

So how can you use veribit in a store (coffee shop) that accepts bitcoin?

yes, awesome, right?

VRC = BTC + Interest

Edit: lmao sry I read too fast and thought you asked if it can be used at a coffee shop that accepts bit coin, once Veribit becomes active to the general public you simply input the address you want to send BTC to, input how much BTC to send and then it gives you an exact amount of VRC to send to the Veribit address which is also provided and 1-5 mins later the BTC is in the shops wallet

can the QR code scan work with this?

I agree, it called it on 12 hours but it took 24 hours because something unpredicted happened - there was a massive hype fest on twitter after i posted my prediction Cheesy

Exactly, it cannot predict 100% but it is much much better than guessing!

The heavier the dump the heavier the rise. Same work the other way round.

There may be a rise but I doubt we'll be seeing 34 again.

I'm also a "Veri" man and "CLOAK" man and a "Monero man". In fact I've been in and out of more coins than I can count now.

Fact is coins have their pump and then they have their dump. Once dumped you can kiss goodbye to the all time high if it's not an original. Maybe 34 was Veri's "moment" and maybe it wasn't, I'm just saying there's a well trodden path that gets kind of familiar.

There was a pump to "ATH" with Veri a few weeks ago. Shouldn't that have been the end of the coin according to your logic?

as a pump to "ATH" with Veri a few weeks ago. Shouldn't that have been the end of the coin according to your logic?

Yes. It may have been, but with each successive ATH, it gets closer to the peak.

Have a look at this - it's not going back up there anytime soon because the big profit takers don't come back once they're done unless there's some kind of *major* reason for risk taking.

http://www.cryptocoincharts.info/v2/pair/vrc/btc/mintpal/10-days

It's one thing taking a risk when a coin's on the deck, quite another when it's at 4 times it's value when you first bought in and surrounded by juicy "unpumped" alternatives.

DRK is in a special category - a genuine original. Thats not to take anything away technically from the others. They're al interesting in their own way, it's just that "technically interesting" isn't nearly enough to move markets.
