Less than 1 hour until the CoinRecycler public beta begins! One quick note before the beta starts though -- there has been some confusion in the IRC channel from people that seemed to think that the beta will include every coin under the sun. That is not true, and has never been part of the launch plan for CoinRecycler. The beta will include one coin: WhiteCoin. If the beta launch goes well, we will begin adding more coins and announce them soon. Adding new coins is not a technical challenge, but as with any new system there is a possibility that bugs may exist. We want to make sure we've ironed out any bugs in the system before launching more coins. Have you decided which coins you might add in the future, or are you having a vote to decide? |

One of the MastiffCoin community members (vir6) is currently developing a voting site for us! We're selecting the initial set of coins to be included in the vote list, and then will publish the voting site within the next 24 hours.

I was expecting some hype with the recycler announcement but it seems like only very few people are interested in recycling their coins.

It is the World Cup right now, and we're only in beta with one coin currently -- there will be plenty of hype as we add more coins and additional features |

But next step should be about making us want to get more mast this way the recycler will be a useful tool. |

Estimate on recycler was near dead on..
At this time not sure what I would request for improvements. Time will tell what this will morph into.

Well, the good news is that we've already beat CloakCoin's "CloakSend", as we can do anonymous transactions for any coin that we add to CoinRecycler, and they're only doing CLOAK to CLOAK.

As far as the estimates' accuracy, fedge, the only thing that could impact them are shifts in markets during the time in between when you request the estimate and when the coins are actually converted. We do full order book analysis and take volume into consideration for the estimates, so they are 100% accurate at the time the estimate is given. (The price of the coin or MAST could change between the time when the estimate is given and when your coins are recycled, depending how long it takes for CoinRecycler to receive your coins.)
