Help with setting 6750 13.12 drivers constantly HW  Sad
Unfortunately, still no progress with 5xxx/6xxx cards.

My 5970 works great with the windows build posted today at 2*1.8Mh, awesome speed for an ancient card.

I have a 6950 also doing 1.74Mh happily.

win 7 64, 13.12 whql drivers, sgminer_x11x13mod_30_05_2014

Neither the server address shows without setting manually a name, nor a name shows when manually setting one (with "name" or "poolname"). Is it only me? I'm using the latest version Elun submitted. My conf-file is on page 36, with the big picture. Can somebody take a look. Thanks.
Code:
"pools" : [
        {
                "poolname" : "BOOST suprnova",
                "url" : "stratum+tcp://boost.suprnova.cc:3311",
                "user" : "someone.5",
                "pass" : "p"
        }
Code:
sgminer  - Started: [2014-05-30 20:43:45] - [0 days 00:37:01]

[21:11:33] Accepted 723fbc7b Diff 0.009/0.008 GPU 0 at BOOST suprnova

I changed to "poolname" (as I only had "name"), but still miner shows Pool 0, Pool 1, etc. The only difference with your config is that CGWatcher has put extra pool priority line for every pool. All is fine in karloth's cgminer, with "name" and pool-priority. I just can't figure it out... Damn it! Smiley

Code:
	{
"poolname" : "Suchpool, EU",
"url" : "stratum+tcp://stratum-eu.suchpool.pw:3335",
"user" : "tr0ubles0me.h81pro",
"pass" : "xxxx",
"pool-priority" : "0"
},

Looks like you've an old version.

Did you see total running time:
Code:
sgminer  - Started: [2014-05-30 20:43:45] - [0 days 00:37:01]
?
If not, please update sgminer.

I just updated CCC to 14.6 Beta. It is hashing at a constant 3500+, but there are no shares accepted (also no non-accepted shares). I just keep seeing 'stratum from pool - detected new block' and 'network diff set to ...'

Someone having succes with 14.6Beta?

FYI : there is now unified, improved version of sgminer, including all sph-miner features and more, take a look here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=632503.0 Developers are welcome to maintain this new version instead of separate forks.

Yes, I had that. I took my x11modTahitiglg2tc8192w256l4.bin from the Original version in this thread and use that. It works.

New release. No speed updates in this release. Github sources as always here: https://github.com/lasybear/sph-sgminer_x11mod
Changes:
  • Total uptime in first string
  • Gpu sets idle, if all pools dead. Tried to unplug internet cable and gpu set to idle state, clocks dropped. Share your results about this feature.
  • show-coindiff option from cgminer-3.7.2-kalroth added. Description: Option to show coin/network difficulty instead of hash value. --show-coindiff or "show-coindiff" : true, can now be used to show the coin/network difficulty in accepted or rejected messages. This is only relevant for coin switching pools and it is off by default.

Link for windows binaries: https://www.dropbox.com/s/vtj5z5e56jc8wh7/sgminer_x11x13mod_30_05_2014.zip

Thx platinum4 for his ideas, and lasybear for his free miner.

This is the latest version? Yes? No poolname, nor address showing on  my rig. Lasybear, any thoughts? It's not a big deal, but just doesn't look complete Smiley

Are you running x11 or x13?! What Cat version?!
Can you post bin files for your cards?
I can't run x13 at all on 5xxx or 6xxx :S

I can't mine any x11/x13 coin with x11mod, x13mod, darkcoin, marucoin kernels on my Radeon HD 58xx series cards. All I get are hw errors. I can mine scrypt with ckolivas with sgminer normally. I have tried Catalyst 12.10, 13.10, and the latest 14 and 14 beta catalyst drivers. Can't mine on a single card even connected to the PC. 8GB DDR3 are installed with an i3-2100.  Have tried various 58xx configs as well as just leaving all/most settings blank. Any ideas?

girino's can x13?
from my POV history of x11/13 mods is:

After girino's x11 with 2%,  a guy hacked his exe-  and we had x11mod kernel .cl file , 270K big - hacked from girino's exe
Then came a x13mod, based on this 'hacked' x11.
Its 281KB big .cl file
This x13mod works ok on 5xxx and 6xxx - increasing speed with 20-30%

Then, Girino released his x11 cl (~ 30Kb), then came your x13mod
Its faster, but doesn't work on older cards
I supposed you are the author of first x13mod :/

you said it works ok on 5xxx cards. Can you provide your the following information? It would be much appreciated.

-AMD Catalyst version
-AMD APP SDK Version
-Config, batch, or command line settings you use to mine
-Kernel you use
-OS

and any other possible details that you feel may contribute to mining successfully.

I used the latest sgminer_x11x13mod_30_05_2014 but now I'm getting only 2160kh/s. With the x11modb2 I was getting 2300kh/s.
Same config.

So I copied the bin from x11modb2 to sgminer_x11x13mod_30_05_2014 and now I'm hashing 2300kh/s again.  Huh Huh
