To chase it into the sell walls at 140k would be my guess.

I disagree, I think this is all part of a move back towards 200k..... Im expecting a jolt ant moment and some big jumps coming.

So where is the trading taking place now? Please dont say Cryptsy, Ill be sad if that is our only alternative. I loved Mint, until this had to happen.

Mintpal looks like the most volume for XC at a whopping 16btc. The volume on XC is pretty low on all the exchanges. Seems like people are just waiting at this point. Bittrex is also going down the tubes because of another scam coin nightmare yesterday, USBCoin...people are actually filing complaints to feds and trying to boycott bittrex. The thread went ape shit for about 7 hours. It was entertaining to say the least.

http://uk.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/2byhax/moolah_acquires_mintpal/

Interesting comments in there about how this is a bad move. Anyone here have a good argument against them?

What comments do you find interesting?

All I see are people talking about some drama that broke out between Moolah's CEO and Dogecoin's founder in /r/dogecoin.

Seeing as how this drama is unrelated to Moolah and its ability to manage and operate Mintpal, I don't see that they have much of a point.

Moolah is no different than any altcoin in this space - they are constantly bombarded with FUD and nonsense detractions.

And that's all that is - FUD.

I don't see how this can be so quickly regarded as a bad move.

The only bad move for everyone in the crypto space would have been to do nothing with Mintpal.

The hack at Mintpal really shocked this space.

New ownership/oversight of Mintpal is the best possible outcome.

I can understand that people might be skeptical that Moolah is the best fit for the takeover. But to say that this was a bad move is to imply that there would have been a better move. What is that better move? I can't think of one. No one trusts anyone in this space right now.

Let's see what Moolah can do. I know that Moolah's CEO has invested his personal finances in this acquisition so he is going to be very motivated to make Mintpal and Moolah the best it can be.

Over 25 copies of Watch Dogs given away to XC Community Members!

I still have a stack of codes for whoever speaks up Smiley

Or if you miss your chances in here, I am periodically hopping on the Polo Trollbox and making it Rain games on them too if they tweet or like or share XC on twitter and FB.  A little plug never hurt nobody

Thanks, that's along the lines of what I was wanting to hear. Smiley I wasn't aware of the FUD campaign against Moolah. Hopefully this is a great move!

From personal exp and you will find many like me but like a year ago it was a nightmare trading there. Coins not showing up in a timely manner when they were minutes ago missing pumps and all that fun stuff... sometimes for days or weeks.

I always got my coins in the end, but missed opportunities killed it for me, and this happened multiple times.

They may have gotten their shit together now, I could not tell you one way or another, and I will admit I am extremely bias on them. Watching dollars slip though your hands can leave a sour taste in your mouth.

Yeah, I wasn't around for all that, but in my experience withdrawals and deposits are significantly slower at Cryptsy.

That's enough of a deal-breaker for me. If I have to wait for hours and hours for a deposit or withdrawal to clear, I'm going elsewhere.

The Watch Dogs Giveaway is still going on!!

To Date I have given away 37 Copies of the game to XC community members and about 10 to people on the poloniex trollbox by having them find information on XC in our ANN to answer trivia questions.

I still have more game codes to give away and will try and keep this promotion going on until the end of the month.

If you are a supporter of XC, then have a copy of the game on us! And if you can donate a few XC then great.  If you cannot, well thats ok too.

Promotion will only run a few more days.  PM me and get to playing one of the top PC titles on the market for nothing!  Courtesy of the XC Community.

I really would like to have one. Pm sent.
Thank You

Hello,

I must be doing something wrong with staking XC.  Is there a minimum number I need to stake and earn interest?  I deposited coins into my wallet on 7/20, however my wallet seems to be stuck between 6 and 13hrs (it goes up and down).  Any ideas?  I'm on wallet 9.2.45

Thanks

You'll get stake, just give it some time.  Staking takes up to 30 days, and it's a lottery, so in time you'll receive stake, and it will average out to 3.3% per year.  Also, make sure your app is unlocked for staking.  The estimation isn't always accurate, so just be patient.

For further reading, here's a link to the staking section of the website: http://xc-official.com/staking/

Happy staking!  Wink

That's the plan all along though. I mean, there's paid PR for the final Rev 2 release, more paid PR for Rev 2.5, thanks to the community, and yet more on Rev 3.

Basically any time there's genuine newsworthiness,  we'll let the press know. And of course all the other publicity (social media, etc.) comes along with that.

Chinese friends could submit XC PR to BTC38 via this link:
