Thank you for being respectful.

I'm having trouble with my Microsoft Windows software...

Conclusion: Windows is broken and Microsoft doesn't care... So I'm going to sell all of my Microsoft stock, and tell the whole world about it.

This is what you sound like. If you make investment decisions based on this logic, I feel sorry for you. Majority of issues are a result of user error. All of XC's privacy features are working to for me. Ever stop to think the issue is on your end?

And even if the issue is not on your end, we are still in a beta phase. Please stop thinking the world revolves around you and Dan needs to stop everything he's doing to help you.  Consider yourself fortune that Dan even responds to such a self entitled prick.

XC's privacy features work. End of story.

Cool story bro. If it was easy then Dan on multiple occasions would have found the problem. Strange, still doesn't work. Dan didn't seek me out, I messaged him asking if he could remote my PC, he said sure and we arranged times multiple times. He very well could have turned it down but opted to.

XC's privacy features don't work for everyone. End of story.

Considering I haven't stooped to name calling, I'd say I have been taking the higher road and being respectful. Voicing a concern about a broken feature shouldn't result in backlash. Hypocritical code of conduct if you ask me.

You're in an extreme minority, having issues with the anon transfer. It works for me and the vast majority of people perfectly.

What you mean to say, is the privacy features don't work FOR YOU.

I'm sure Dan will fix it when he is able to.

Why do you keep spamming the topic?

Fixed.

I keep posting because people keep harassing me and I have every right to post here considering I still will have some holdings. So no, not going away. Smiley

Guys, let's please do ourselves and this thread the courtesy of ignoring this now PAINFULLY obvious troll. Hopefully once he returns to secondary school in a couple weeks we won't have to see as much of the "this user is ignored" messages.

You are posting the same information over and over a.k.a spam. You don't have a right to do that.

Your "concern" has been addressed today by Dan the developer who said he is still looking it. By the pr man Synch. And by numerous community members.

Just how trustless is this?

It's trustless in the sense that bad actors cannot steal funds i.e. XC sent via anonymous transfer which passes through malicious nodes cannot be stolen. This is due to signatures.

Just how trustless is this?

As trustless as it gets, every XC wallet works as an Xnode to provide anonymity.

Every XC wallet is automatically an xnode? My god, that would mean it's completely decentralized... Simply amazing.

Is there an XC equivalent of https://www.bitaddress.org ??

I want to print off a few XC paper wallets and give them as gifts.

cheers.
That would be cool. How many coins can we do this with?

I suggested that 400+ pages back Wink You can build it yourself or find someone that can Cheesy and yeah it would not take more then 1 day of coding (but I can't)

But as always, it's safe to assume the team has this all planned out for launch

Someone interested in making this https://github.com/litecoin-project/liteaddress.org --->  https://liteaddress.org/ work with Xcurrency? Would be a great way to get wallets out to people without having them to registered @ exchange or download wallet. I suspect there to be people out in this community with to proper skills. Please Cheesy

Check out the thread here about a universal paper wallet generator.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=386670.0

Not sure how well it works or how secure it is.  I found it when doing a Google search. Smiley

This WORKS!    I used 75 for the decimal version.   Now, I can have BIP38 encrypted paper wallet for XC!!  Totally awesome!

When you need to import the key, just use importprivkey from Help->Debug Console to import the private key.

Also note: You have to close and reopen the wallet to see the imported address.

Of course you probably want to only use this for gifting since you will be missing out on staking if you store it completely cold.

http://cryptolife.net/upwg/

Remember the wallet can only import BIP38 address
