i wasnt online for a few days and now again 145k... i cant believe in this low price...
Me2 at first, but have the blockchain in sql, also identified almost 4100 MP addresses (where used in single inputs) Did some queries and Current trading seems an improved me for me. There is a lot more withdrawn in the last two weeks than deposit. Most transfers end in single wallets and stay there for staking. If i have to guess i say that at the moment coins and moving from traders to long term holders. Graph is to big for upload and my plane leaves in a couple of hours. But when im back i have a site online where you all can build queries and visualize the result. That's very positive information! If you post that graph, I'll publicise it hard.

I'm also curious about the mass exodus from alt-land over the last few days. Is it everyone going on vacation maybe?

A single graph seems nothing compared to an interactive website. It's working in local mode but not hardened jet. Know people that will pentest before going public. Not feel sure enough to open it and go away for three weeks. But had a great time last couple of days clicking away:) How big holders use the XC? did they mine or buy? Do exchanges stake? What adoption rate is/had XC at some moment? Stake small inputs sooner or later than large ones? What % of XC is stable/not moving? Also see a possibility to, in some circumstances identify the change address. That will greatly improve the exchange wallet identification. But first .... im going to a beautiful Thai beach, still 100% in XC and no Internet there, no worries!

ITs a bad day for alts in general mate.... not just XC, in fact I think we are holding pretty strong which is no doubt a good sign....
It's a bad 2 month for crypto's in general. From BitcoinWisdom last 30 days DOGE 0.00000026 -3.33 43 -5.79 68 -22.11 723 -38.86 3,836 BC 0.00009888 -8.00 41 -13.28 64 -29.44 495 -43.58 3,139 XC 0.00147500 +0.56 24 -6.05 52 -4.84 455 -17.04 2,096 VRC 0.00009922 -11.08 26 -14.82 38 -31.57 242 -70.54 3,403 VTC 0.00024183 +1.15 6 -8.00 15 +1.62 85 -52.41 906 Almost everything beside VIA,XMR is down 50% +++ last 30 days. So unless you had heaps in VIA or that you magically traded your way out of it, you'd be down a load. Good thing is that this 40-80% drops are on very low volume and often times to win 100% a coin doesn't need a lot of volume. See RZR past 2-3 days. won 100% gains on very lowish volume. Lack of buyers and a down market doesn't help. I'd bet that if you took the last 30-60 days of most "blue chips" coins and invested in the ones that "outperformed" the market w/o having to push huge release to do so, you'd be in good shape for the next bull market. I believe coins like XMR, even tho it did good last 2 month wouldn't be a good pick tho as if XMR went on a 300% upswing they would have 200-300 BTC per day produced witch wouldn't be sustainable.

The XC Daily Update is a great addition to this thread so I thought I'd put together a weekly review for anyone who has missed some of the developments this week.... if theres anything else that needs to be added please let me know. ***The Unofficial XC Weekly Review***
Soon XC will add a new layer of privacy based on your XChat address. XChat addresses are soon to be implemented as "stealth addresses" to which people can send payments. This means that you'll receive payment on a different address that not even the sender knows. As such, you can publicly display your XChat address as a kind of cryptographic "business card" for both payments and messages, without anything being linked to it on the blockchain! Finally, combining this with Privacy Mode will conceal the amounts sent to this address. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- XC is very proud to launch its very own store!Go ahead, buy yourselves TOR Sticks @ www.xcmerch.com- All orders are currently pre-orders with an estimate arrival date of late August for the first batch. Product Description: Portable privacy: The XC TOR Stick runs a secure XC wallet, connects to XC’s network via TOR, and makes your coins as portable as a credit card. XCurrency is very proud to announce the XC TOR Stick, a milestone in digital privacy. It’s a fully featured Xnode “wallet” embodied in a flash drive that connects to the XC network over TOR for maximum privacy. With no installation required, it leaves no trace on the computer you use it on, and its ultra-portable form factor allows you to carry your XCurrency around as easily as a credit card. XC is the current market leader in decentralised private cryptographic transactions, being the first project to deliver a working, scalable anonymous platform for digital transactions, communication and other “Blockchain 2.0” services. The XC TOR Stick enlarges this platform by adding several unique use-cases: USE CASES The XC TOR Stick is a fully featured app; it can stake coins or earn Xnode transaction fees when running. In keeping with XC’s flexible approach to design, it can run on any computer, and can be embodied in other flash drives, CDs, or a virtualised environment. And of course it is private, very private: not only do transactions leave no link between sender and receiver, but your IP address is not revealed, thanks to TOR. • Insert it into any computer to make payments without installing anything. • Unplug it, and none of your personal files or information remain on the computer. • When unplugged it functions as cold storage for your coins. • Keys can be imported into it, allowing it to function as a backup of your addresses. • By existing outside of a computer it is protected against viruses. • Make a safe copy of the private keys on it, and you won’t even lose funds if you lose your TOR stick. ------------------------------------------------ Some of the PR articles that were on various sites this week/weekend:CryptoCoinNews Exclusive: http://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/news/xcurrency-begins-selling-highly-anticipated-xchat-tor-stick/2014/08/07Coinbuzz article on XChat! http://www.coinbuzz.com/2014/08/10/new-secure-chat-client-based-bitcoin-blockchain-xchat/GadgtSpot.com: "XChat makes chatting online untraceable". http://gadgtspot.com/2014/08/08/xchat-makes-chatting-online-untraceable/----------------------------------------------------- TOR-STICK ISO Updated to XChat RC3http://downloads.xc-official.com/release/xc-torstick/XCurrency_livecd_X86_v2.47h.iso For those of you who don't want to wait, you can make your own XC Tor Stick using the above link and a flash drive. Cool, thanks Driv3n!

We'll enjoy the website upon your return :-) Ok, some quick teasers, btw what im making is an visual blockchain explorer: eg: interactive SVG flows, so just click, scroll, zoom etc to follow the coins. Detail of last transactions: Largest transaction till now: still hope one day this will show one of mine:) Heavy zoom in on last 500 Mintpal releated transactions: Need to write a new manual query to prove my statement that 'available for trading coins' are flowing to 'Staking coins' for with i have no time now. Hope you all trust me on that one Hope some community members will help with beta testing & feedback when im back. Take care you all, see you after my holiday:) Kimmy btw: Placing TxIDs in a timeline 'is do-able' but when paying with the data i found that without you sometimes get a better view when you combine the grafh with your query. eg: There will be some radio button somewhere sometime but haven't implemented it jet

In my mind, this means coins with a dedicated dev team, dedicated community, team that is innovating and ETC. LTC doesn't fit that view. Basically most coins that were present and "hot" last november wouldn't fit this view, they were mainly forks of BTC with small tweaks here and there.

Brilliant news! I was going to suggest a few of Tails features be added to the TOR stick, now i presume they are already there. Will deffo check that out later. I was wondering if Tails might integrate XC into their updates in the future? Imagine what exposure this would give XC given how many people use tails for privacy. up until now its only had PGP messaging avaiable. what do you think?
