Actually I don't think Dan needs more nominations to get added to the upcoming vote. From the Couns Source thread:

We are still in the nomination round, so all people with 15+ votes are automatically going to the Voting round. We will send out another update tomorrow to inform the new nominated people
I and i am sure others really appreciate the messages that are honest and from the heart towards true dedicated members who have helped make a community that stands by them. This is great to see.

Do you have a plan on how to use this nomination to promote XC to the public?Public interest and 'easy to use' is the key to go BIG for any crypto. "Go big or go home", eh? Winning the vote is something different. I wouldn't make too big of a deal out of it for the time being. Let's hope we manage to get a decent amount of votes for Dan. Tbh, I wouldn't be to disappointed if we don't make it this year, although I think Dan would definitely deserve it. After all XCurrency and Blocknet are still far from being finished. E.g. it's also unlikely to win the Oscars with a movie that's still in production. (Maybe stupid example but I hope you get what I mean) |

Yeah, I'm quite surprised with the level of support for Dan. Not because he doesn't deserve it (because he most certainly does), but because of the level of fud he's had to endure and XC's relative price the past few weeks. I haven't counted the total number of votes but he certainly looks to have received one of the highest number of nominations. I don't attach too much value to this 'Proof of honor' award thing, especially considering some of shit CoinsSource have published in the past but I think when it comes to voting, Dan will finish quite high. It won't do his rep any harm and it'll be a good two fingers up to the above cretins you mentioned. |
