Can somebody tell me how to back up my XCurrency wallet onto a memory stick please. New to this. A step by step idiot guide would be great. I am on a mac. Much appreciated.
Copy the wallet.dat file to your memory stick. The file can be found in username\AppData\Roaming\XCurrency edit: just saw that you have a mac. I think this path doesn't count for a mac but I'm not sure. in windows it's very easy (don't know if yu have the same option in mac) in the menu "file" go to "backup wallet" go to a specified location then save wallet.dat it's that simple (on windows)

Even easier...
Open up your wallet, go to 'File' --> Backup Wallet.
Save your wallet as xc.dat or something on your memory stick. Done.

I'm under the impression that it is still unclear for some why BLOCKNET is beneficial to ITO holders and holders of involved coins particularly XCurrency. I have created a few slides that hopefully in a less technical way shows the benefit and service of BLOCKNET. Remember money and service flows through the path of least resistance. Why download several wallets risking the chance of a trojan, using web exchanges to hold your bitcoins when you can just download a blocknet supported wallet that you trust and get the benefit of not just many services but choice among them. I have added the XC logo on slide headers to please my own ego, but this is 100% a community contribution and my own interpretation of BLOCKNET from an XC perspective. edit: On the first slide I've only added current available services I could find a screenshot of. Add all services present & future and good luck getting it crammed into a one-pager. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FCGObPef.png&t=663&c=B8qe4kfkGkO_jg) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FADi0Xav.png&t=663&c=G8q42STL_WBiKw) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FAHTs0He.png&t=663&c=LKk9wRfnsSTjuQ) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FHkfva3E.png&t=663&c=gKiL7k_MoMRjyg) edit: Correction on my part, XC has no role in above scenario ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FFjh9TLQ.png&t=663&c=yxwTmTjqYROJVA) /Dungor

Dungor, if you're able to highlight all the fees that an investor can collect, maybe can get more investors in?

Dungor, if you're able to highlight all the fees that an investor can collect, maybe can get more investors in? We don't yet know the size of fees, however I suggest that blocknet should get 25-40% of service fees from the XCMixer that comes from blocknet business. I know that is a large %, but think about it this way, it is fees that the XCMixer wouldn't get if the blocknet generated service never had entered the XC ecosystem. The XCMixer still gets 100% of fees for mixing XC -> XC.

Good stuff Dungor!
Thats what you call community contribution. Let's expand on the scenario's and see if we can create more!
Thee fee structure is indeed also very interesting to visualize to get a picture of where the BLOCKS play their dividend and how the Xmixers fit in.

Morning all
Just to let you know that we've been working behind the scenes, and are getting ready for new things. XC is entering a new phase of its development and we're very excited to kick it off - and will do so as soon as we're ready.
Some of you have a expressed concerns about our relative silence of late. While I understand your reason for this, I want to emphasise that it is not beneficial to XC for us to pour hours of resources into Bitcointalk, and at the moment we have a lot to do. I ask that you'll have the faith to allow us to get on with our work.
Till soon,

Thanks for the update ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I totally agree that it's not productive for XC team to loose hours on forum instead of working on project.

I still have more hope for XC than most other coin in the alt section. did he step back from util in the end like he said or did he take that junk on too?
