Thanks, but I am using the standard (fully functional) NFD client.  How to do it with that?

OK - I did it with the MofoWallet for now.  Seems a little. awkward.

Thanks for your help

MofoWallet is not too bad actually, starting to like it.  Just need all the functionality there mining and leasing and everything.  I think it should not be so advanced with letting you start mining on a remote server.  It should just start it on localhost and do away with all the overcomplicated UI.

Otherwise it looks like you're off to a great start.

Which part of the UI is the most overcomplicated in your opinion?

You have some alternative, although also they have a low volume of operations.

Nevertheless, I am glad that they are advancing in other important things and that they must give him more popularity to the currency, as Mofowallet.

Thanks to the dev and I hope that they should continue with this big work.

(public key is needed but there is no field to provide it)

We have a public faucet plugin available in both the downloadable mofowallet and the online version.

This links directly to the faucet plugin https://fimkrypto.github.io/mofo/launch.html#/plugins/faucet

We also have integrated the public key publishing for new accounts in the UI of mofowallet there is an extended explanation here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=633304.msg9428841#msg9428841.

Finally in mofowallet support has been added for a new address format called a publish addresses. To send FIMK or NXT to an account without a published public key simply add the public key to the address separated with a : symbol. That format is accepted everywhere in Mofowallet.

Example: FIM-KXHG-U8SX-XPA9-9GU6V:24e6e437ecbf5c0921d7ac30d37614c6a3689b5ace0a980a995ec8c6463af216

Support for the default client is being phased out and it is unlikely we'll be investing time in that apart from necessary security updates.

I actually appreciate the direction that you are taking with the public key issue and the mofowallet, and other developments (this is the reason I'm patently sitting on millions of FIMK) but the fact remains. You bundled 0.3.1 with a wallet that has no way of sending transactions to an unknown address. At least you could've modified the message in the client to let the users know, that this is not a bug, it's just not supported, so do this for alternative.

I'm especiall not happy about this because I'm developing a service that will also accept FIMK and this is a problem as I'll generate a brand new address for every user. No one will be able to use it at the time being, unless they use mofowallet. (Or unless I publish the key myself for every newly generated address, but that is extra development I don't want.)

15 more blocks to 203000!

(Block explorer seems stuck again.  Info according to explorer in Mofo Wallet)

Update to 0.3 NOW if you are forging.

Thanks  Cool

EDIT: now how can I be sure that I'm forging in MOFO wallet? It says that I am forging, but when I click on it and then on "start forging", it says "Forging started" but the pop up window does not close except if I press on "Cancel".

You have a point about the missing instruction. We'll see what can be done.

Can you tell more about the service you are working on?

Clicking Cancel will not stop the forging it only closes the dialog.
The forging UI and UX is on the list of being changed, these first days after launch gave some better insights in how we should do that, I agree it's not as clear as it should be.

I'll generate a brand new address for every user. No one will be able to use it at the time being, unless they use mofowallet.
Old wallet [frontend client] will no longer be supported, all FIMK users old and new are pushed to use Mofowallet which is included with the downloadable FIMK server starting from the next release.

The chances of many people being unable to use your freshly generated addresses will be thus slim in the near future.

Can you tell more about the service you are working on?

It's a paid P2P Q&A site, based on crypto instead of FIAT. We are a few months away from open beta.

Yes you can, just download https://github.com/fimkrypto/mofowallet/archive/master.zip to your VPS.

The app folder should contain mofowallet UI html and js files.

A question: I withdrew ~30,000 FIMK (the first FIMK I bought) from DGEX 1-2 days ago to my address FIM-XZXB-V4LF-ZU82-44RPX

The problem is the FIMK haven't yet shown up in my wallet. At the time of my withdrawal I was using the client I downloaded from your website. This was the first transfer I have sent to this address. Then I started using the wallet here: https://fimkrypto.github.io/mofo/launch.html The transfer does not show up in the mofo wallet either. To test whether it works, I then sent 2 FIMK from a faucet to my address and it worked, it showed up in my mofo wallet (although I remember I did something called - if I'm not mistaken - "publishing my public key" from the mofo wallet before the 2 FIMK faucet transfer).

So bottom line: is there something I might have done wrong and that can be corrected to have my balance reflect the ~30,000 FIMK I sent from DGEX? Or does the fault lie entirely on DGEX and I have to keep pressing them for an answer and to speed up the processing of my withdrawal?

Many thanks for your help!

Your account has a balance of 32,654.62392. You should see that in your wallet. If not, then you are perhaps your wallet is  on a fork.
