Maybe you guys are right, I'm gonna keep my coins though and if the anonymous thing does indeed work when it comes out i'll be happy to use it to move some money around.
It all depends what the anonymous "thing" is.

hope trustless anonymous will be there soon

Current system who claims that they are anonymous, actually based on trust and they all depend on one centralized operator. When he is death or give up all anonymity collapse.

What Mammothcoin brings to the market is REAL trust-less system and first time.

This is great news for many because you will feel first time more secure about that central operator.

We are almost there with second generation anonymity. There are only few weeks left.

Trust-less anonymity is not the end but a new beginning for us and others.
We will get community stand together to promote it heavily. We believe at some point other crypto currencies will move to the trustless system. And we can be always proud of ourself to be pioneer in this field.

Not true. Do you understand how XC works?

My understanding was that XC and XMR are both able to provide decentralized trustless anonymous. . . But I'd love to hear an answer to this from our Mammoth dev.

I did hear on a troll box somewhere that XC is dependent on TOR for its anonymity. Is that true? So you'd need to trust that TOR is really anonymous before believing that XC is....I am not a programer/coder, I may be completely wrong about this!

No, the TOR stick is an additional piece of the pie. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=630547.msg8246625#msg8246625
XC is decentralised but TOR gives an added level of anonymity, because TOR will also hide your ISP
At least that is how I understand it. Even with a fully anonymous coin, one could still conceivably see what ISP's are active (in some way), so TOR is an extra addition.
With XC every wallet can be a node through which transactions are broken up encrypted and routed, and this it how it is decentralsed. Though I stand to be corrected on this.

What is wrong with you people, what kind of nonsense is that? XC is 100% decentralised, its like the very exact thing you are posting? relying on TOR AND CENTRAL SERVER? WTF

Well, to be fair it's hard to keep track of every coin. And things change very fast Smiley XC wasn't even a round a few months ago

yeah xc is and cloakcoin will be when POSA comes out (supposed to be very soon).  sorry mammothcoin you dont have anything that other coins dont already have...  this coin is officially DEAD.  no significant trades in forever and dev that has completely abandoned the community (except for making vague statements and promising things that other coins already have) if you still have mammoth get out now while its still on bittrex.  cloakcoin has already made back my money and then some from this en devour and the devs are actually active!

Here's our update from dev team.

I have good news to report. I have finished the basic implementation of the p2p decentralized trustless anonymous system, and it works fine. With all the multisig addresses and transactions, it is a pretty complex system. Now it works end-to-end. In the next few days, we will provide a detailed schedule for testing and releasing the system (a rough schedule is below).

As far as I know, this is the first real p2p decentralized trustless anonymous system in coinjoin category. I am not sure for the crypto-note technology, it seems it is a good one, although it is a different technology and mainly for CPU. But for coinjoin category claims, I don't see any truly trustless system, and this is the first one.

Following is a quick screenshot from my desktop showing test log and some code.

The following is a rough schedule for the next few weeks, we will provide more details soon:

- A detailed white paper will be published in a few days, I should finish it before August 14. The white paper will contain details on the technology and algorithms we are using.

- Now to August 14 is dev team testing on trustless system, and also we will add bells and whistles to the code (especially for some error handlings).

- Alpha testing on real network of MammothCoin: August 15 - August 19. We decided not to use testnet as we have high confidence on our code, also our testing so far has been on the real network. We choose MammothCoin for initial testing as it has less traffic, so it is easier to fix initial bugs etc.

- Best testing on real network of SuperCoin: August 20 - August 24. With more robust code we move to SuperCoin. Both alpha and beta testings we will invite limited members of the community to participate the testing. These testing phases including all bug fixes.

- August 25, we will release p2p decentralized trustless anonymous system for both SuperCoin and MammothCoin.

Also, we don't release immediate the source code as they are too many copycats, but we plan to release the full source code 2 months after the system is released. So people with skills (and curiosity) will be able to inspect and review the code.

Stay tuned, we will provide more info in the next few days.

I don't know if you understand that they are really testing the Phase II on Mammoth and the new trustless system is working?

Why do you spit on new investors?

I will not argue about this coin anymore...good luck promoting it (as you are promoting SUPER too), really, you will need it, just take care to not get burned.

I am not mad...I wish Mamm succeeds, as Super in the so called PhaseII ...but this time I won´t put my BTC on this coin, will only watch.
