I responded to you all about poloniex, Mintpal is still a ways off until volume increases over 400 btc per day I'm not going to bother contacting them. I will continue to ask for our addition to Busoni's exchange. Out of respect for bittrex (poornamelessme is correct) I did not push super fast exchange adoption. Keep focusing on the addition of useful purposes for our currency and the rest will fall in place, I assure you all of this.

I must have missed your reply, as I don't recall seeing your post.

As for MP/Cryptsy, maybe get the coin up for voting? Vol won't increase to 400btc/daily while on bittrex only... might as well get some voting going. I know you feel that the coin will be added organically, but it may require votes.

I understand the idea about not going after other exchanges so quickly out of respect for bittrex, BUT... this new ipo schedule of theirs would make me think that respect only goes so far. I wouldn't leave the coin on bittrex as the only exchange for more than a week or so, due to repeat ipos possibly causing problems. Basically we may end up with repeating pump and dumps, where people move funds from the previous ipo coin whenever it hits profit, into the next one.

It's less an issue with harmony and things like mil coin, as to be honest, they aren't exactly the strongest contenders (no disrespect meant towards the coins)... just that they seem iffy to me. But as more and more ipos come along, it may not be best to keep all of your volume in one basket.

How does a coin that people want to hold onto, keep a volume of 400 BTC?  To me that seems like so much volume for a coin with only 1.35 million outstanding.

Staking requires you to hold a nominated amount of coin and they need to be held for a nominated minimum amount of time before the staking process begins.

Then the more coins you have the greater the chance is that you will actually mine (mint) some coin, the longer you leave them staking the higher the chance that they will be accepted coins (not orphans).

So ideally your wallet should be open all the time, you will receive a stake every day which in turn gives you compound interest, this stake will add to your original coins then the next time you stake you will receive more. If you just open your wallet once every blue moon, then you will receive a lump sum and not receive this compounding interest.

This is my understanding of the staking system, please feel to correct me if I am wrong!

Digital Commerce(DCM) has established partnership with Bitscoinshop (http://bitscoinshop.com.br/en/) where you can buy items by using DCM. As DCM is not yet integrated with the payment platform, you will need to use the following procedure during checkout:

1. Customers wishing to purchase using DCM should choose the product, along with signing up with the details and place of delivery;

2. Choose the bank transfer as the payment method, meanwhile leave a message to indicate that you want to pay with DCM;

3. In the message, specify the dollar amount of your purchase and the quote of the current exchanging rate . Bitscoinshop will convert the amount of your purchase into DCM, and send wallet address for payment.

4. Once confirmed the payment, items will be delivered.

Every purchase will get 5 % discount using DCM , any questions or problems please leave us a message

Regarding the "Accepted here" image, is there any way we might be able to get the font used in the actual logo?

I'm eager to whip something simple up, but it would look best if the fonts matched!

Minting will not start until we reach block 15,000.  Currently we are at 4000.  At roughly 1 block a minute, we won't get any stake for another 7 days.  We have to wait for these blocks to mature before POS begins.  That's how I was told it works.

And as far as the wallet goes....I just keep it open all the time.  I have a BC wallet and DRM wallet that stake, so I'm always receiving payments. Will do the same with DCM when the maturity of the blocks is reached.  I keep it open just because I want to now....

We need more exchanges. I suggest the community start tweeting poloniex & mintpal asking them to add DCM!  Grin

Together we can accomplish great things!
