I've finally come to the conclusion that the only reason CLOAK is currently so undervalued is due to lack of exposure.
Other coins have some BS announcement, and climb 20% at least soon after. CLOAK on the other hand, is doing everything we wish for in an alt...great determined devs who constantly communicate, frequent updates, always delivering promises on time, july 4th event that will alter the alt scene...yet, were on a downtrend..
This is good for those of use HODLers...we will reap the most from CLOAK's success in the near future...but for the time being, we have to deal with the current situation that we may drop as low as anywhere between 35-40k within the next few days. Tempting to hop onto these other alts until CLOAK's eruption, but dont do it. No other alt comes close, and its only a matter of time until CLOAK receives the attention it deserves.
I think if even 10% of the time spent developing this coin was spend marketing, we'd be in top 10 already. A good product sells itself doesn't apply in cryptos. I would hope that the team really pauses from developing this coin for a second, and considers some marketing. Anything, we have no exposure, and therefore only ones excited about this coin are those that are here.
Honestly everyone, there is absolutely no reason darkcoin has market cap, or vericoin is stealing our thunder. If marketing this coin is not a priority, even if its the best coin, someone else will take the lead with marketing experience and take over this coin.
I want everyone reading this and to stop and pause, What good is 6 days gonna do? PoSA? Nothing, cause the whole cryptoworld doesn't know about this coin. Time to rethinking everything team is doing and start some marketing, even if just some to get ball rolling. We are going to be forgotten soon, and a month in crytos is like 3 months.
Look at mintcoin? Could have been first POS coin, but let BC take it's place. They screwed up. Please, please if you want keep investors here, take some time away from the developing, and market this coin.
There was a list of 3 things developers should work on next, i say a few days of marketing should be added.
Blackcoin was not the first PoS coin, neither was Mintcoin, Peercoin was the first to use PoS. Blackcoin was the firstcoin to go "PoS ONLY" ie. they stopped the PoW phase entirely. mint and peer still kept the PoW going, even though they lowered the rewards to like 1 coin/block or 0.1 coins per block or something really small.
anyways, cloak is this shizniz, bill hicks quotes aside i'm hoping that the community can step up to the plate and do some marketing for all of us. the website is great, and a good start, but just observe these other coins, you know the ones that have nothing to offer except everyone wants to buy them for some reason? yeah, we need some of that lovin.
at least being undervalued is good for investors.
