BC released blackhalo trading decentralized platform beta today, can go download it on their thread (uses bitmessage too). Hasnt effected market price yet. Played around with it little, interface needs to be little more user friendly. But in end i like how fees/escrows benefit cloak stakers as described in here, overall more cloak centralized marketplace which brings value back to us coinholders/investors. btw cloak is first coin i actually hold, been daytrading for last few months successfully, this coin too promising to sell for daytrade profits Cool thanks for the heads up, I just finished checking it out. My question though is what problem are they trying to solve? They don't have any form of privacy protection or anonymity for Blackcoin that I could find. This begs me to ask the question why wouldn't they just use a regular centralized model like blackcoiner.com? I don't see the benefit to the end user to use BC + decentralized marketplace vs a privacy focused currency like Cloak + OneMarket when the payments can be traced back to the buyer/seller.. This would be the same as using Squareup.com to buy weed from a drug dealer.. Sure the transaction can work but why would you want linkability in the equation.

There's something strange about your wallet. When I look up the payment address on the Block Explorer the transaction isn't there -> http://cloak.blockexplorer.cc/address/BxTmSYLcQ6Fx6rscppLYVcbX7okT59tLfuWhen I trace the other payments to this address I don't see the mining you're showing in your wallet screenshot-> http://cloak.blockexplorer.cc/address/CE4ijF8HY4bmVECmGFLas6hNF6FNVP8UN1Also, I've never paid a transaction fee that high for a cloakcoin transaction - not sure that's correct.

Try these instructions: Can someone help me please ? Yesterday my wallet was synced and staking all off a sudden it stopped syncing on Wed 25. Jun 11:22:32 2014 block 31136 and now it will not sync and the stakes are stuck ! Can anyone advise me ?
went through the same. Apparently fork on mintpal. Only way to recover for me was: 1. Make copy of wallet.dat -DO NOT MISS THIS else coin gone 2. Get rid of the entire appdata\roaming\cloakcoin folder 3. Run the wallet 4. stop it and copy your saved wallet.dat back in 5. create a cloakcoin.conf file in the appdata\roaming\cloakcoin folder (you can download this here skip line 6 if you do download this http://cloak.blockexplorer.cc/nodes/download.php) 6. add some nodes eg this is the content of my file: addnode=cloak.blockexplorer.cc addnode=108.166.185.202 addnode=95.57.120.229 addnode=69.175.37.134 addnode=128.199.178.172 addnode=204.11.237.74 addnode=54.76.17.223 addnode=83.5.174.97 addnode=208.84.132.253 7. Run the wallet again and let it sync I had to restart it a couple of times to get the sync to complete If your coins don't show (happened to me) : go to debug console and enter and run repairwallet Should be good after that

put that shit in the OP
the OP is the closest thing we're going to have to our own sub forums where all smart stuff can be easily accessed by noobs coming to this coin in the coming weeks.
one daily updated OP on BCT is more effective, and sees more traffic than a custom webpage, or custom subforums on another site. sad but true, even if the others would seem to be more effective.

PoSA Update:
Progress is coming along and the Cloak team is right on target.
On launch we want PoSA to work out the box with no glitches.
For that reason we would like to select 10 people from the community to help us in some testnet sessions.
We are updating our testnet daemons for this purpose right now.
The chosen participants will get access on Sunday (at best) or Monday.
A private IRC will be created for the group selected to be our PoSA testers.
We need some heavies because your only job will be to try and hammer it into the ground and break it!
Applicants please send pm and you'll be notified this weekend if you are invited to be a Cloakcoin PoSA tester.

Kind of just looking for established (trustworthy) members to participate. People with larger investments in CLOAK will of course get priority.

People with larger investments in CLOAK will of course get priority. what's considered large so I know where to classify my self? Anyone that is serious with their investment (as in it is an important amount for them). Could be 10K+ for some people 1K+ for others. The aim is to avoid situations where a bunch of testers come in that don't actually care about CLOAK.
