Good morning .... I just took a look at twitch.tv, not sure how all that works but seems pretty interesting. All I know is my son on call of duty in death matches Is like nearly the top scorer in kills... so, we have always wished there was someway he could earn points/coins based on kills + or -   or as in any first person shooter game. Would adapting MIN to that environment open the doors to make money for his talent? lol Plus he used to be huge on SC as well. Me I'm an old diablo buff lol, play d3 now and kind of a BF guy as well. So any site that could create a wager up front system and then either receive rewards for game play and ya losses to, I think would be the biggest thing since sliced bread. and any coin associated with that would rocket. Of course I'm sure everyone wishes for something like this,, but who will get it all right first is the question. the dev mentioned a friend working on such a project. Details sketchy but I say lets look at all options,, and don't drag our feet doing it, otherwise we will wake up and someone else and some other coin will be doing it one day.

I don't play as many games as I used to, I downloaded 'dust' for free (yes its free) on the PS3 a few days ago and Ive been getting my arse kicked by 8 year olds ever since.

I've got a friend who's now working on a betting service that will accept cryptocurrencies. I can convince him to use Minerals only and make it mainly e-sports focused since there's no major e-sports betting service (at least that I know of)

We could embed twitch.tv to watch major tournaments and bet on the outcome of each game. SC is not the only game we could bet on. Twitch.tv got many other popular games that are competitive and popular at the same time

I'm more concerned about the 2nd option.

I'm currently betting in bitcoin for starcraft pro league matches; and i'm doing fine with btc.

But i can't challenge someone for money.

pro players have 3 ways of winning money

-join a team
-win a tourney
-stream games

With minerals they could add

-bet on my matches.

Pro players are starcraft core. Without them that game would be dead yet; they are bringing some new strategies; nice matches.

I saw a lot of starcraft players switching to poker; because overall it's the same game; but they can earn a lot more in poker; because they can bet on their skills.

It was made difficult by limits, that's whats given the price a nice start on C-Cex and also caused a nice bit of fuss amongst the pool owners and exchanges.

you could have an e-sport betting website where you register and post/add matches.  Match data (players/map/player stat) then appear in wallet with odds based on win/losses/player levels.  people can then bet on the match through the wallet.  live data could be streamed from the game to the website or wallet.
