Ok guys something neeeds to be done here!!
New people are comming over to check out whats all the buzz is about in Minerals! And the first thing they see is 30 mil coins no IPO No premine thats good!
But I hear you all talking about starcraft tournaments

So can someone explain this to us newbies?
Why should we buy the coin and how is it related to games? Whats diffrent here?

Cozz I Am about to get some and start a buzz on twitter

And why aint it on bittrex yet? So much volume on c cex wow
The coins main niche is catering StarCraft2 players, that's how it started and that is why you see the word StarCraft a lot here.
Hopefully, if this coin turns out to be like DOGE (i.e. aimed towards a community), it will cater eSports in general and not just SC2.

so should i leave because im not a starcraft fan? think guys.. whether this coin is inspired by starcraft or not we want investors from all walks of life.. and the name minerals can achieve that. dont narrow your vision.

Never played SC either, but got attracted by the dev team's efforts to level the playing field for everyone.
Being a day one C&C player, I wonder how long it will take before Tiberium can be mined in a similar environment Wink

i just dont want this to put off the image of some elitist starcraft nerds. i play many fps games but just have never played starcraft. i may begin. i may not. but i dont want to feel like im not really part of the community because i dont play even if i contribute in other ways. i may never play it and so may many potential investors. how do we convert them from potential to actual investors? we need to figure out what we want.

the major goal of a cryptocoin should be to be used as payment in commerce to actually buy stuff, pay bills, travel, food etc. not to play game

let me give some perspective..

a friend of mine mined btc on his cpu in 2009. he got quite a few coins and used them to buy in game weapons as an in game currency. when btc hit $1000 he almost cried.. and probably did when noone was looking.

all im saying is.. im not interested in betting or videogames where investment is concerned. and there are many others like me im sure. let's do what will attract more investors neutrally and not make this a starcraft bias. example.. anon fetures will drive investment surely over into the 30k satoshi. every coin that implements it gets a 1million dollar+ boost.

do you guys want to ignore that?

We need a healthy combination of things. Focus on both sides.

Anon transactions
Exchange/marketplace in wallet

and

Sponsored tournaments in e-sports
Some way to challenge other players via betting system build in the wallet.

Damn I wish I knew how to code.

+1

and we should all +1 to show our support if we agree. more investors is a good thing after all.. right?

Just love my weekends,,, repairing peoples laptops/desktops.. and checking threads and exchanges, oh ya and mining..... Guess I should be glad lol :0

I don't have an opinion of the gaming side of things (aside from SC) for this coin really, but think its worth further discussion. We need to make this coin the coin of coins lol

DEV,

Mineral coin was added to Coinmarketcap; however, they did not link your logo to the Website. Instead it is linked to the Bitcoin Forum.

The webiste is pretty damn impressive. Can you or someone contact Coinmarketcap.com and have them link the Website?

Thanks. Grin

ok so here's what I came up with for the e-sports betting website concept.

What do you guys think? Not explaining how it works since I want to see if this UI is intuitive enough or not Smiley

Minerals, that's just awesome Cheesy
Wouldn't that be a first of its kind? I don't know any sites where you can bet on e-sports tbh.

I was thinking about making a wordpress site to distribute Minerals-related news. Do you think it's a good idea?
And instead of calling it Minerals Journals or Daily Minerals, call it Morning Minerals or something?

Here's a wip on some slow free host: http://ito.netii.net

I don't quite grasp the bottom part, but love the direction you're taking!
The bottom part are the bets people placed for both players, showing the total amount, return % if the side wins an a detail of all bets.
I would hide the detailed individual bets, but show'm in a "Details" or "Advanced" view, so you can focus more on the game being played Smiley
