The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

Hi timeshareafrica

Hoshimaru & Akira are the same person ^^ I'd be Akira here too, if it were to be available when I registered :p
Anyway, there's also Stronci, goldminer.graphics and hotwired007 and other people supporting us, but I'm not sure they have an account here.

I replied to your comment on the site by the way. I'll try finding something better for that site. Maybe the Disqus addon. I see you already did too Smiley
goldminer.grahics was already working on this.

Argh! I forgot my phone at home: no 2FA, no access to collaboration site, no trading >_<

Hi Akira, how about something like this ?
http://gamers-coin.org
Is there someone who can do this ? If not I might be able to organise a guy who is doing the website.

Happy New Year everyone.

@timeshareafrica: I didn't know about that coin ^^'
Looks like we're going to have a competitor. Someone also tipped me about this http://www.gamerholic.com/

Fuuuuu 1.000.000 for 15 BTC (O.o)
Where? On Bittrex? Last time, I made a fast sum and all minerals (27M if none are lost) would account for 27 BTC at an average rate of 200 satoshi. It might have been a pump & dump operation on low volume and cheap crytpo? I haven't followed P&D groups on twitter or IRC for a while.

Hi Hoshimaru, I think the big thing about your coin is the name and the logo, they are very good much better than anything else. Even if it will take 5 years to get the Minerals running again as long as the trading platforms not taking them off all is save.

You're giving me too much credit Shocked
I'm just an enthusiast tinkering with the source code and other crypto related software. So nothing at the level of rat4 or savale etc at all: I quit the IT sector due to an enormous disappointment and never reconsidered picking up a career path ever again related to computer science ever again. Today I pay a very high price for it and my skills and knowledge melting away like snow is just a part of it.

You never know what some people are up to. If they did it, it could have been profitable. Around half a million was dumped on Bittrex too, right after that inflated & volume & price.

Hello timeshareafrica. I'm honoured by your offer, the trust and credit you've give me. I will send you a PM (can be a little later today, I'm about to leave home shortly to go pick up someone)

What wallet is working? Mine does not connect.
What wallet are you using Bojcha?
These are all the wallet Pavel compiled:

  • [Windows] Minerals QT wallet v1.0 - https://mega.co.nz/#!3ItEHZDY!pUbNAH6tQFUlkahesN-jV_NPIb5aJhHOdeL2Rgviqrg
  • [Windows] Minerals QT betting wallet v1.0 - https://mega.co.nz/#!mJ90iTIT!F3sxp4Xt7a2_A216LRQ8tQK-agQT59ffg9J4AC84vHY
  • [OS X] Minerals QT wallet v1.0 - https://mega.co.nz/#!idNwBD7K!qQiCBpZTg2fKrYKaO138q4pOZiROBgW5kFl532uWkxA
  • [Linux] Minerals QT wallet v1.0 - https://mega.co.nz/#!LckwBQab!gfcZ6ipo2dxuIlsjnCuf2MUmZ8iMc7M2INxQPQUshos

If you delete peers.dat in your Minerals directory and start it with the command line as "Minerals-qt.exe -seednode=dnsseed.morningminerals.com" (without quotes), it doesn't connect?

I'm still fighting with Gitian. The previous dev never used it and many of the files needed must be created, while others, especially makefiles must be modified. Some references to files are even missing and must be added & placed in the right order.

It is the only working DNS seed (super)node. Over time, you'll get more nodes depending on the network. The more people connect and mint their Minerals, the more connections you will get.

PS: if you start it from the command line the way I said, it will get more nodes. Now you're using it as a regular node.

You can remove everything that has minerals.pro in its address and/or its IP addresses. These servers went down as little after Minerals got abandoned.

Still using it as only node in config and connecting instantly on wallet startup. After few minutes i have over 20 connections. So all fine!
