I don't understand the sentiment , Minerals is one of the few altcoins with actual real life usage.

Do not ever compare ANY coin with BTC. You can do that only when you see on exchanges that altcoins are measured by other then BTC coin.

We need a multipool that actually works. That is the main issue here in my opinion. The link to the multipool on the front page is not operational.

I believe if we can get a multipool up and running it will pump volume into this coin and help it achieve a higher price.

It does not seem that the betting developments are strong enough to take the Min price up significantly on its own steam, because the world does not yet realise that they want the functionality. After marketing, several successful tournaments etc. the world will realise that and start to get into Min to the later of Q4 2014 and Q1 2015. Until then it will be low prices and low volumes, unless some other way not linked to the main purpose of Min can be found to generate the demand, interest, volume and price. Looking at he market this feature currently seems like anon. If the devs had implemented anon earlier Minerals would have been trading safely > 10k providing a safe and stable environment for all their dev work. It seems though that they prefer to work in an unstable environment <1000 sats with where the community keeps whining. It is not too late though. It depends if everyone is ok that with the low prices and volume as well as accepting the associated risk with that, then the dev team must continue as is. If the community wants a higher floor with more volume, then anon needs to be implemented without delay.

I've won around 5k MIN while betting on the announced tournament (2nd run), so betting works. Bet was processed in few seconds, everything worked great. The main problem is that noone is playing SC2, almost every streamer played his last game long time ago. There's a need of a live stream that will show active player at the moment so we can actually make some bets besides announced tournaments.

I think it is necessary to create a stream of Minerals on twich. This stream will show fights of streamers which registered in advance in a duel. Anyone can participate in stream. For this purpose it is necessary to submit an application and to choose time of translation of a duel (from available). The camera and microphone aren't obligatory. All fights are chronologically determined and begin at the beginning of each hour. Duration of fight is limited. If the player registered in a stream on Wednesday at 17:00, nobody can register on the same hour. The player has to confirm the participation before a duel - in 1-2-3 hours, differently its fight will be cancelled. For example the player can agree with the sparring the partner about the forthcoming fight, or at the time of inclusion to choose the opponent in a network. The channel will have the corresponding design. There will be there an emblem of Minerals, a running line with information on winners, the forthcoming fights, quotations, news, etc. Between rounds and separate episodes splash screen will be shown. If in any interval there is empty time, that is shown record of fight from a database corresponding to duration to this time. Certainly it is possible to stake on each of fights. The channel will show information on rates, to show tables with statistics, etc.

Yes we thought about it. But what's the cost? That's probably the only question.

What are these costs? We will probably get more exposure from this rather than only preaching in Bitcointalk.
Right now we don't have a medium which will bring real world people into this.
Firstly, I know that the betting feature works, "awesome", but the biggest problem for people outside of crypto is "How to buy Minerals". I can't think a layman going through all the exchange process. I think the most wanted feature is to have a portal on the wallet itself where people can just deposit Bitcoin/Fiat and get Minerals. This is 5000% more important than ANON. Please contact Saffroncoin devs about this. They have successfully implemented it.
 Secondly, we should think about advertisement. We should hire professionals who can take our ideas and express them to others outside of this cryptoworld in the right time and in the right way.
Thirdly, I'm curious to what your plan is now. Are you going the DOTA2 route or the ANON route

To give you a hint - you are saying that the profits of the product after R&D is finished will make sure that the company runs and don't close doors while you are still doing R&D and building the product. Do you get it now or do I have to type it slower? Do you realize that the betting services alone of Minerals is not strong enough to make the coin survive until it is finished and adopted by the wider public? Alternative means of creating demand and volume is urgently required to prevent the coin from dying before the betting services can be rolled out and adopted. Shame on you as you obviously want the coin which has an excellent product and future to die prematurely.
