Hey MineralsPR, please put it as mandatory that all the players who will participate in the tourney will have to promote it in various social media. They won't be contributing anything into the pot, so they have to atleast promote Minerals to get a spot in the tourney to earn free money while playing their favorite hobby.

This is a Starcraft-themed coin whose origins are littered with Starcraft graphics. Minerals are half of the raw materials aside from Vespene gas found in the Starcraft universe.

Might as well have called it VespeneGasCoin if you want to predict how long this coin will survive.

Its purpose is for unregulated gambling on stream sites that want absolutely nothing to do with that. Their initial "marketing" was on this forum in the form of blatantly ripped-off Blizzard-owned graphics in the announcement thread.

lololol you obviously don't know what your talking about this coin has nothing to do with any game in particular.. starcraft is simply the first game and has a huge following so it was a great idea to go with that first...all infringing graphics have been since removed for precaution reasons...minerals will be used for betting on several games like dota2 etc... guess you sold out ,u still have a chance to buy back in, but don't know how long this cheap window will be open for good luck to you and if your that sure that minerals is a fail,then theres really no point for you to come check up on the thread lol...

Removal of infringing graphics means that they've acknowledged infringement. Acknowledging an infringement means that it's already happened.

Hey hey - we removed graphics not because we acknowledge an infringement - but to avoid pointless fights. There is nothing that ties this coin to copyrighted content except of what? couple screenshots? Nah... that is just not serious..

We got one planned. I`m waiting for Crayon to get online. He will be organizing tournament and we sponsor it. I`m maybe good in something - but organizing tournaments was never my strong side. Crayon is the man. We wil lprobably give him keys to the Tournament betting site so he and his team will fully operate tournament betting and casting process.

I'm no techy wizard nor marketing guru but I'm gonna start throwing ideas out there. Feel free to shoot me down but I'm only trying to help...

First up... Tourney within a Tourney

Betting is a precarious pastime, entering crypto is precarious also so we need something to encourage these gamers/spectators something a little different.

Naivity is my strong point lol, but not all my ideas are to throw MIN away, that said this one is, here goes... if we have the budget.. (i'll donate 1kMIN)

This tournament coming up, what say we have a budget of 25k MIN. First 20 people from SC11 community that download wallet and register their address will receive 1000MIN. Go bet! Out of those 20, he/she who is the most successful will win another 5000MIN.

Market this as ''Help us to trial our betting service at no risk to yourself'' ''Increase your watching experience and maybe win some Minerals''

Obviously we would need to sanity check that they are SC11 community people and not crypto's looking for free minerals, but is it that hard to ask for battle net profiles to ensure this? Or something like that.

This could also provide valuable, neutral feedback of the service from the very community we are targetting.

1000 min is a big amount for giving away to people who have till now no interest in Minerals and we are not even sure if they will be interested after the betting. A prize pool for the tourney to pay out 1st, 2nd, 3rd ... and so on will however spice things up. It should be mandatory for all the participants to promote the coin in Twitter, Facebook, et al. to take part in this tournament.  
Also MineralsPR has already suggested that the payouts will be converted to USD to help players avoid all the exchange situation. Other gamers will see this after the tourney and will be ready to do streams and tournies for Minerals after this 1st one

OK, maybe not 1000MIN    But you get the idea... 1st 2nd 3rd etc works for me too. I think the key here is the 'no risk' element to begin with. With luck, their experience will be positive and word will spread. Not sure how you could enforce the mandatory promoting on twitter etc but if we can then yep, I'm up for that too

I have tried to help support the sells for the past two days, and I cannot justify it. I would of never of invested if I didn't believe in it. But I feel like I'm getting scalped here as someone slowly backed up a truck and has been dumping for days.
