i love how people that panic sold want bussoni to pay them back lol, crypto is risk and crashes happen on daily basis, people spread fud and coins crash all the time , like drk crashed xc with a tweet, do people that lost money on xc ask drk to pay them back.
if you gamble and lose it's nobodies fault. it's a lesson for all of us to double check facts and not make premature decisions. or trust anyone in this case no matter how reputable they are people make mistakes..
Listen man this was no mistake this was deliberate and coming from an exchange. Polo has lost much credibility Poloniex was already losing volume to bittrex. This was a pr attempt to regain users with trust. Back fire big time. Poloniex=crypto rush soon. whatever it was i learned not to trust anyone, make my own mistakes, but yes bittrex is where action is on new coins. which one will be next pump that is my concern. I confess to you that I bought on duping without fear because same cheap FUD was carried out in XLB and I already knew about this whole history of more coins if you look, most POS coins have this line with more coins: static const int64_t * COIN MAX_MONEY = 2000000000; just look at BC, CINNI, XLB, SUPERCOIN, etc ...

bosuni, how about you start a vote on poloniex, and let public people decide whether you should list supercoin? ? Hasn't it already been voted in? This thread is a response to that. Now it's just a matter of sorting out the details between Polo and the SuperCoin devs.

Polo wants to be a white knight in the alt scene but continues to display great hypocrisy and incompetence. I'm done with that exchange. Good luck to those blindly following these amateurs.

bosuni, how about you start a vote on poloniex, and let public people decide whether you should list supercoin? ? It is their exchange, not yours or anyone elses. They saw something they personally didn't like, and decided a course of action based on that. Why they didn't is none of anyone's business really, when it comes down to it. End of story.

They saw something they personally didn't like, and decided a course of action based on that. Why they didn't is none of anyone's business really, when it comes down to it. End of story. it is not end of story, when a exchange owner accuses the coin of being a scam, when it is not current investors loose money. the guy runs a exchanges so anything he says is not take lightly. he must know this would have that affect. busoni making this claim is not the same as a newbie making this claim. if the dude can run a exchange he must be able to read a code. current investors sold based on his statement. crypto world works on trust, if we can't trust polo to read codes how can we feel secure on the site. what makes it worse is what was found in super coin is also in cinni and silkcoin. did he not vet those coin before adding. what was the motive behind this. why was the dev not contacted? why did he not contact bittrex? also crypto article were fast with that article

How is the weather on your planet Dude? Instead of closing the doors like other exchanges i could mention, he has been paying back the the btc that was stolen out of his own pocket, I personally am not owed anything anymore, I cannot say the same for cryptorush or mtgox and I am quite sure they will not be returning my funds !!!

Busoni I've been a supporter of polo and your word has weight on me and many. I took your word for it and panic sold, I lost over 13 BTC over this crap.
06/14/2014 04:27:41 PM Sell 0.00001799 224347.58707523 224347.58707523 0.00001916 4.28953655
Im really upset over the way your announcement was handled. I totally understood your concerned but to come out and post it and imply that something fishy was going on and now to see you backtrack is very devastating. We were #1 on polo voting so who in the world would ever think that something catastrophic would happen.
I hold u totally responsible for what happened to me and I hope you do the right thing. U totally destroyed me and my family this was over 6k USD in btc.
I lost 0.7BTC I bought 6 BTC, many thanks for your cheap coins. You must be pulling his leg. I couldn't even find an exchange

Poloniex has decided not to list SuperCoin because of some disturbing things we turned up in our code review. I would like to draw your attention to this part of the ANN post: - Total PoW coins will be 18.2 millions. - Total coins (including PoS) will be about 50,000,000.
And these parts of the source code: if (dAmount <= 0.0 || dAmount > 150000000.0)
static const int64_t MAX_MONEY = 150000000 * COIN; static const int64_t POW_MAX_MONEY = 50000000 * COIN;
MAX_MONEY is pretty much what it sounds like. This means that the actual maximum supply of SuperCoin is 150 million, not 50 million. Furthermore, the maximum PoW coins is 50 million, rather than the claimed 18.2 million. The 150 million number appears twice in the code, so it can hardly be considered an accident. We did not find evidence of an existing hidden premine, but extra coins could potentially be minted all at once at the end of the PoW phase, sent to exchanges via the "anon" feature, and dumped. We have other concerns about the coin, particularly concerning the proposed method of anonymity, but the shenanigans with the maximum supply is sufficient for us to reject this coin. why did not you try to contact me before for explanation
