What do we need to start harvesting right at launch? Balance over 1000 XEM and... 1440 confirmations of the initial balance received or smth?

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

If you are in nemesis, you'll be able to start harvesting stright away. If you'll want to delegate harvesting, you'll need to wait 360 blocks. |

Is there anything I can do, when it says during the instalation that "Problem running post-install step" and "Problem creating launcher in C: ..." ...I run windows 8.1 and have the right version of JAVA.  |

Our public addresses are being entered into the genesis block (first block of the blockchain) so everyone who are stakeholders will be able to access their xem at the moment when NEM goes online tomorrow.
And it will last as long as the nem blockchain lasts... You are in no rush to access it tomorrow. Just be careful not to loose your private key.
