The fact that address starts with NANEMO suggest that vanity gen was run to find it, doesn't it?
No, looks as a random set of letters to me. While you are here, how is it possible to harvest with no coins on an account? Or maybe I incorrectly interpreted this picture: Harvesting with no coins on your account. It's not a bug, it a feature! It's part of "delegated harvesting" that allows you to give the importance of one account to another account to secure and keep safe the original one. if you were to look up the account in the NEM client(and not nembex) it has no XEM because it is located on the original account that set up "delegated harvesting". IMO, its like the leasing feature in NXT.

13/1000 or 13/10000?

Important Note: Please understand this is just the beginning. We have just launched and from this point forward serious people cannot continue ignoring NEM. There is a lot more good stuff prepared for NEM, however, we'll have to discuss that stuff once the sand settles.
P.S. Enjoy the cheap NEM. Buy, before China wakes up!!!! And before it hits trexx. Lol. 9 bilions coins for 140sat. It's very very expensive guys. Waiting for 10sat price next month

Delegated Harvesting is an advanced and unique feature found only in NEM... Fire the guy who wrote this lie. Actually remote harvesting works a bit different than the corresponding feature nxt has. I guess both developers had their reasons to implement it the way they did.

Remove "unique" part anyway. The difference from Peercoin and Nxt is so small that people will still accuse NEM in a lie.

Is that 13 ‱
13/1000 or 13/10000?
If 13 % = 13 / 100 I guess the logical conclusion would be that 13 ‱ = 13 / 10000

got it thx.. so now that I imported that private key, it is no longer in any way associated with the old wallet? im afraid the old wallet might be compromised.
If you think something is compromised, I would suggest opening another account and sending all your XEM to the new address/private key... I've done it several times with my NXT when stuff got uncertain... Im trying to send the XEM to new account but client says 'Your account does not have the right balance to make this transaction.'

Can someone help me? I'm trying to install NEM, please help10 1. http://bob.nem.ninja/docs/#installation2. Dowloaded http://bob.nem.ninja/nis-ncc-0.5.19.tgz3. uncompressed in dedicated folder 4. launched from bash (I'm on Ubuntu) nem/package/nix.runNis.sh 5. Result /nem/package/nix.runNis.sh: line 3 : cd: nis: No such file or directory Errorr : Can't find or load org.nem.core.deploy.CommonStarter /nem/package/nix.runNis.sh: line 5 : cd: « OLDPWD » not defined
Idea? Java 8 is installed. Try going into the nis folder and launch it from there instead of launching it from outside. If that does work you can put the cd command into the .sh so you can start it from anywhere in the future. I have "data" and "logs" in it, nothing more. And data only has two .db files

being automatically forwarded your coins is not a small difference imo. and being able to use anyones nis, even a hackers, is not a small difference. so in that respect it is unique
Dare to explain this to every FUDer? Ok, your choice. PS: In Nxt you can use any server too.

In my simplistic mind. Just as an observer and crypto-fan With NEM: Account [ A ] uses "Delegated Harvesting" to give Account [ B ] the "importance" of Account [ A ]. When Harvest a block Account [ A ] receives the amount. With NXT: Account [ A ] uses "Leased Forging" to give Account [ B ] the "importance" of Account [ A ]. When Harvest a block Account [ B ] receives the amount. I could be entirely wrong though
