Do not hold your XEM - you must sell some, 5  - 20% of your XEM to new nemsters. Otherwise the population is not growing. And that grow is the critical thing.

it really is baffling to me how the price is climbing independent of bitcoin's rise and fall..
What is causing this all of the sudden?

Not that I'm complaining, but just curious as to what exactly is fueling NEM's rise vs all the others that are solid offerings.

The thing is we do have a very solid offering based on facts and not hype, in other words our proof is in the pudding.

NEM is delivering and investors are seeing that.

The DAO hack may have helped also, but i feel its more that people are waking up, and we are talking about financial experts here, not just your random BCT members.

I think 8 billion might be likely in 5 years, but 1 billion in 12 months is quite possible.

I think it depends on whether it can leave the crypto ghetto behind and break out into legit business and by extension the rest of the world. Any project that really wants to go places needs to do that and nothing's been close to it yet.

If it does and it's used as intended then the potential valuation might flabber a few gasts.

Well there is a word "maybe"  so that is a probability . Maybe you didn't quite understand. Maybe you are not a firm believer of NEM .
