Supernodes UpdateI am pleased to report that Supernodes will begin payments on June 1st. Please remember to have ports 7880, 7890, and now 7778 open. Basic Step Steps to Enroll. A) Make a delegated harvesting account on an account with 3,000,000+ XEM. B) Boot a node with that delegated harvesting private key and make sure it is synced. C) Open your ports on OS and router. D) Configure and start up the Supernode's servant. E) Send a message to NAFUNDBUKIOSTMD4BNXL7ZFE735QHN7A3FBS6CMY stating “enroll (your IP or hostname) (your node's name) (your delegated harvesting public key)” Check your node's status and collect XEM as reward. Full and detailed instructions can be found here. https://forum.nem.io/t/nem-supernode-rewards-program/1735 Just a reminder to have your nodes updated and ready to go on June 1st.

Well the point of Supernodes is to have a very strong, worldwide distributed, network. So there isn´t a point if we all could just do a couple supernodes from the same place. Not for nothing there is a "guaranteed" payout, as long you pass the tests, which gives incentive to people starting a Supernode. To make it short, no.

Some people are saying bitcoins and ethereum block chain will become too bloated as users increase making it extremely slow to sync and use, will Nem face the same problem as it increases in popularity our does Nem Have different solution to this problem?
How many transaction per second can Nem handle at this moment and can it handle a million users right now? I am sorry for asking too many questions. It's been a long time since I followed NEM so am trying to get up to date.

Is there any way we could share balances and combine them in some way to run a supernode?
Much in the same way people are doing it with DASH?

It is supposed to be a decentraliced network.

And if i take one node in my friend house nearby, would that be ok?

Yes that would be okay. 2 boxes, 2 uplinks, 2 ips, all good. (and frankly noone would do the investigating to ever find out about that)

What about Multisig? If thats possible it would be great! It could be possible for a group of people that know each other to pool their funds in a multisig account, but it is a bit risky still and I wouldn't really recommenced it unless you knew them really really well. Lets say there are 3 people on an account, in NEM we have n - 1 to edit the signatories, so that means two people could collude to remove the 3. That would be pretty bad. I guess the devs could make a new kind of importance transfer that allowed multiple accounts to contribute to one POI score but that hasn't really been discussed before or requested by the community.

That day is a mess to the altcoins. I hope NEM recovers soon.
I blame Waves for that
