It's a game of cat and mouse. Definitely interesting to watch. I wouldn't be surprised if there are private talks with the hacker at some point, where the exchange pays a 'bounty' for security and the hacker returns the funds. It seems like a very high risk endeavor for the hacker now to try to cash this out.

XEM has a unique potential for growth. Perhaps now there will be some correction, which is connected of course with the price of bitcoin. The main thing now is to choose competently the entry point to the market. This is art.
to find the entry point is not easy, especially if you only use a few tool XEM BTC, but if you take the Fiat, the market is coming to her.

There were also no attempted transactions to exchanges." Maybe the hacker is testing, how the trackings / tags are working ...

Hi Guys,
I didn't know where to ask, but I opened recently my nano wallet, and a transaction of my whole XEM have been moved to another address with the "private key exposed" message. Could you tell me what happened and what can I do to get back my XEM ?
I've never heard of such a message. Get yourself on here - https://t.me/nemhelpdeskBut the likelihood is your coins are gone I'm afraid unless there's some mysterious glitch. You try HODLing with 700k NEM
Time for you to comb your chest hair, cup your testicles and man the hell up. There are plenty of people with plenty more who one never hears a squeak from. If you're not confident, or over invested, then the market's right there. All the merits I had for that wonderful instruction how to become a real man!

If this attempt succeeds the trail of stolen coins will be lost forever. according to that article there was no attempt to transfer to exchanges. Yet.

The hits just keep coming...India today. Seems like a poor interpretation of India’s stance too.

Doesn't seem like the government said anything about banning crypto in the announcement. Another case of poorly interpreting these.

Don't knock it. We got a totally awesome pump off that horrifically warped Wechat news.

Unfortunately, the human tendency is always to give more weight to the negative news than positive. I'd much rather people here make informed buy and sell decisions, and not based on unsubstantiated rumours or blatantly false stories.

Since of jobs reasons I have not been able to follow all the news and developments of NEM over the last weeks. The price has dropped a lot along with many other coins. Why can't NEM stay stable against the trend? There are good news and NEM is a good alternative to the problematic traits of Ethereum.

It is worth noting that the NEM has not fallen lower than the rest of the market. Let's look at the same ICON - a strong blockchain, lost in price more than NEM. Just now, this situation, that virtually everyone is losing money (except for strange coins like bitcontact ...). I think the situation will change soon, we should just wait!

mate, just relax, all markets are down, last year we hit 30c and got dumped like the rest back to 9c. Lots of good news on crypto, just lots of FUD along with it. Korea claims no crypto ban is happening, so good news.

Korea claims no crypto ban is happening, so good news. Hah yeah exactly. NEM was one of the best performing cryptos of 2017, it is no surprise that it would see a pullback sometime. It tends to be a little more volatile than the market, so it goes down more during downtrends but also rises more during the uptrends.
