Since when have yobit cared about anyone or anything? It'll be quite amusing if they are nailed to the wall for this. They sound like scum.
If I were a smart criminal, I would have created a fake / scene exchange, just to cover the massive one-time coin laundry. And when that occurs, the exchange itself could be sacrificed. The anonymous exchange owner can disappear to the 7th bit heaven. Well, I am not saying that YoBit is a fake or they are doing something wrong, I am just raising a new aspect to the Exchanges: they should not be anonymous, they should have a street address. Otherwise the blockchain system must give the trust to the users. Now it seems that it will not ...

Ultimately the people to be pissed off at are coincheck. Their stupidity and laziness is what caused this. If it wasn't going to be this hacker it would've been another one eventually.

Are there any new information about the Chronobank aidrop? I was reading that XEM holders will profit from the airdrop but I could not found closer information. Is there a date released already?

ok, i'm sorry, you are right! is a new account, so i have to transfer what i have in my .wlt to my new account, connected with my trezor. Correct?
Indeed. There's no way of importing anything. no problem, maybe i'm just too stupid to understand i have nem in my wallet. I connect my trezor to my wallet. all the xem that i have inside my .wlt file right DON'T go automatically into my trezor and i don't have to make a transaction to trasfer them to my trezor

Right now there is nothing in it. Note the address. Send everything in your existing wallet to it. Obviously do a test transaction first to make sure you have the right address. Make sure you store the Trezor seed in multiple forms in multiple locations. That's your only backup.

looks like Yobit have since ceased XEM deposits, about time, they probably saw the news and realised they will be in deep S#*t if they continue trading the stolen XEM. The anonymous exchange owner can disappear to the 7th bit heaven. The hacker has already started a fake XEM exchange on a TOR site with an .onion address. Does not appear much XEM was sold there, but anyone that buys XEM there will receive XEM marked as stolen.

I just checked my account on Bittrex and the wallet is not flagged any more, it's open like it was before the incident Did not hold long. Just checked and it is flagged again as "Wallet Offline". The good point is that the transfer to bittrex from a week ago got finally credited and you can trade.

And I would guess this whole thing is obsolete with catapult anyhow

Sorry to bother you again, but i've a problem to connect my trezot to my nano wallet.
I have my trezor plugged in. I've downloaded the universal client. I click on the firefox html document file named "start" and it opens a new browser page with an address like file:///C:/Users/luca/Desktop/NanoWallet-2.0.14/start.html#!/login.
I click on login with trezor (main net), it open a popup but than i have this message: Failed to create wallet, reason: Loading timed out
I tried different time in hours, but i've always the same result, but my connection works fine..
what i have to do?

Any dates on when Bittrex opens transactions again???
I just checked my account on Bittrex and the wallet is not flagged any more, it's open like it was before the incident Bittrex was too lazy to explain, just pointed out that Wallet Offline! And XEM trading is also not available. How can you use the XEM wallet and I do not have to work? Can anyone know anything about this? Should I contact Bittrex support?

It's routine maintenance deposit/withdrawal is not functional right now but trading is still active there. You can check by clicking on the market link directly but if you having some issue than you can ask from support there. https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-XEM

Hi. Im hoping that the price would be stable . NEM platform would be in full swing and should dapps adapt its platform, and this would drive developers swoop down and use it.

Yes, this is commonplace on this exchange!

If you go to Bittrex assuming that you have your coins there, go to: https://bittrex.com/home/markets look for XEM there if it's not showed there type XEM in the search bar Then click it, it will take you to the trading area, in the sell area it will show you how many coins you have available, there you can sell or buy even if the wallet is locked. I am telling you this because I bought some XEM today. I don't know if the wallet works to send or receive coins out of BIttrex but inside Bittrex you can do it
