I've seen 12 posts asking about shipping.
Bitmain said around July 10th to start shipping and that's a Thursday. Repeatedly asking when it is going to ship when that information was supplied already is just cramming the thread up.
I know margins are tight, the tightest ever. You guys are now living through a pre-order. If you never ordered a pre-order, you'll drive yourself crazy dwelling on it everyday. When I ordered my KNC Jupiter, I had to wait 2 months for it to show up. The luckiest people in bitcoin were the ones that ordered those first Avalons. I think they made like 5BTC/day for a while. These things we'll never see again. Poo Poo Poo on that.
5 BTC/day for a while?? when was that and how much was that avalon???  Just be thankful you had no dealings with bfl. |

Not sure I would claim it to very profitable, will barely ROI. Bitcoin investment is possibly a better use of your fiat money. But hey, I still have 8 x s3's on order , so i'll shut up :s |

I know that my comfortable limit (at least in summer) is ~2.3-2.4kwh extra heat and this is pushing it, which equals one S2 and 3 S3 However, I greedily ordered 6 S3 and now contemplate what to do as I don't want to sell the S2. Selling the rest on ebay looks like a waste of time because of a small premium. |

Yes, we have been mining with one S3 testing sample on our engineer's desk. But we have not been able to do a large mining farm with S3 yet. We have been using S2 machine to deploy a mining farm, and that is how we own the hash rate. The bulk PCB will be arriving tonight, and we will start first batch production tomorrow. First batch usually takes a longer time than later. We may ship the S3 -B1 on or before 14th. |
