I guys,

I'm CPU mining for a long time now but since 10july2017 I can't get my LLD 2.2.3 Wallet synchronise (windows 10). I've got peer connections (1-8) but still trying sync for 4 days now.

Anyone else has sync problems last days plz ?

What can i do/try to solve this plz ?

Thanks

Edit: I have solve the problem by removing and reinstalling the complete wallet using the recent database on the official website.

Hi to all
This post is to the Nexus coin admin  and public relations.
pple have issues with broken links, example slack invitation, reedit forum is few days old, you are almost invisible on this forum.  I am trying to support your coin because i believe there is something there. but a transfer of 1000 nexus from cryptopia to my wallet takes already almost  a day and is still not confirmed. mining sucks with plenty of errors that no one try to explain. i am not a rookie - doing this for years.
as of now i am not mining your coin because there is a problem with wallet synchronization and gpu miner. yesterday i spend 8 h of my time try to fix issues but i cant. some of legendary and hero members here posted there issues and have no answer.
so please pick up your game or let me know if i should move to different project.
best regards

We appreciate your support.

We have been working with folks to help them through their issues mostly via our website chat and in Slack.  If you continue to have an issue, DM me an email address and I can invite you.  It seems that one of the seed nodes was out of whack and has been taken offline.  I'd suggest to anyone having issues, delete the files from the Nexus folder EXCEPT the wallet.dat (always make sure to have a backup) and add the bootstrap database from the downloads section at nexusearth.com after extracting.

As far as posting in this forum, we are most active on Slack, similar to many other Teams.  We try to post relevant information as needed here, but that is where we are most active.

Closing Slack invites doesn't do much to boost confidence.

Do you need an invite?  Feel free to DM me.  We have a reason why they are temporarily disabled.  We have almost 3,000 people in our Slack so I am not sure what closing down the auto-invite means for confidence.  We had manual invites for a long time.

Yeah, they closed it down for a reason dude.

Like Pdoggg said, if you need an invite then let him know!

Just the standard bat file:

Quote
:BEGIN
setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 1
skminer.exe 127.0.0.1 9325
GOTO BEGIN

Strange thing I noticed is that my wallet debug log is running ahead of time?

Is it normal after 13hrs at 190mhs that I've not received a single block?
It looks like at least several people have reported this issue. I have personally run it for 12 hrs at 3GH/s and no blocks until I gave up. It is not normal based on the difficulty alone, must be some bug in the wallet software. Debug.log showed no drift messages or errors. Used to find blocks just fine a few days earlier.

If you happen to be using Linux you can easily build from the master source. It is fully functional.

I know someone was supposed to have built an updated Windows one very recently but perhaps it hasn't been uploaded to NexusEarth yet?

Can someone point me to documentation explaining nPoS? I checked the ANN OP, website, wiki, but no luck (unless i skimmed over it).

My wallet is open and unlocked, but no stakey stake going on. Trying to figure out why Huh

There is some information in this FAQ document on our forum https://nxsforum.com/topic/56/nexus-faq-s/2

Also, currently the difficulty is is high so it may take longer to get a Genesis transaction to start staking.

Excellent, thank you!

I see my first problem.....not using the Oracle 2.0.5 wallet. I'll fix that and see if I can't find a Genesis block Smiley

Quick Noob question: With the new cpu miner is it better to have high Sieve and PTest
for example; Sieve 756000 PTest 815000 or low like below?
Sieve 400000 PTest 425000

Got 2 old computers i'm using and have done research of the miners stats and best settings
But I was unsure on which is better high or low?

Thank you in advance

The numbers of Sieve and Ptest represents the average time the miner spends sieving and testing prime numbers in one batch. As a result when you compare a miner between 2 machines running with the exact same parameters set in miner.conf the lower numbers indicates faster performance.
In general the goal is to configure the miner to have the highest WPS. The trick is balancing the Sieving thread and prime test thread parameters in the miner.conf. The optimal values can be different for each architecture, (number of CPU cores, CPU speed, memory speed, hyperthreding, VPC, etc)

The ultimate goal is to have the highest 6ch/m and 7ch/m rate, which not necessarily linear to the WPS indicator. I mean I can configure the miner to have higher WPS but the 6 and 7 ch rate will drop.

Some explanations of the parameters, finding the optimal values and how the miner works can be found here:
