Hi guys,

I have trouble to synchronize wallet. I tried recent.zip and bootstrap from there, but wallet is just hanging after some blocks. I tried on two computers. Is there any magical setting or maybe peer list to feed to the wallet?

I updated wallet to latest 2.4.6 and it synchronized successfully

This update is REQUIRED by 09/14/2018 19:11:00 GMT -7 to keep your wallet running on the main chain.

If you are upgrading from 0.2.4.6 or earlier, this version will re-index your blockchain database the first time it runs. The process will take a while, up to 5-10x the normal load time depending on your hardware. Just let it load, then let it sync completely.

After the initial load, this version should cut your previous load time roughly in half.

For Linux users who compile manually, the re-indexing is much faster.

Upgrade process (Windows and Mac GUI):

Backup your current wallet
Exit wallet
Download 0.2.5.0: nexus-qt.exe for Windows, nexus-qt.dmg for Mac
Run the new executable instead of the old one
Optional:

The recent.zip database bootstrap contains a copy of the database that is already re-indexed. You might save time by using this to manually replace your current blockchain database. Download file and instructions on nexusearth.com

If you experienced issues with your wallet syncing after the 2.5 update, please update to the RC-2 branch by downloading the new .exe or .dmg file from Github. You do not need to update if you did not have any syncing issues:

Is there anyone mining in solo with rx480 cards? What clocks do you set and what hashrate do you get?

And another question is: WHY for the God's sake many of crypto wallets has difficulties with blockchain synchronization? Is this so hard to make it just like in Litecoin Core wallet, or DASH, or Argentum, or as in many other wallets where successfull synchronization is just a matter of time?

by the way, what is the difference between NEXUS and MAINFRAME?

it seems they somehow overlap, but MAINFRAME does not have a blockchain running yet, and it seems to be a bit more on protocol level.
I tried to read up on their tech, but info is a bit sparse, I couldn't even find out what language they use- may be javasrcipt, but maybe that was only an application demo..

Download struct even with rc2 version for me. Not downloading after 2202543 block and the staking icon keeps showing "stake miner initializing..."
